The choice is not between a "deathtrap recession" and mortgaging our children's future. It is between allowing failed corporations to fail, be restructured and resuscitated by more responsible owners, and throwing the fiscal future of the country into those irresponsible corporations - blindly and without transparency - by the same people who brought the crisis about in the first place.
