I hope I don't get sick!!).

Ironically, many philosophers and scientists suffer from CAID.

The problem is fairly simple to describe in words, but complex in nature.

Many Philosophers are Indoctrinated with the teachings of the faux school of Analytic Philosophy since the beginning, so many of them are excellent at producing all the possible descriptions of eliminative philosophy which is also anti-science, such as post-modern feminism and materialistic positivism.

Ego swelling is another symptom among indoctrinated philosophers, so they love to think that they control the Universal Theory of the Material Everything, because they won't recognize their hidden premises and their sneaky usage of the sleight of word.

So the poor and unaware Scientist is CAIDed, and Materialistic Positivism is the new Orwellian Mantra. That poor scientist is forced to repeat it over and over and over. Scientism takes over as a Materialistic Positivist idea: Scientism is just a gossipy, capricious child.

That poor scientist will never understand the philosophical content of her/his ruminations and her/his ego will swell -one of the symptoms of CAID-, while launching poisonous remarks and prejudices to her/his detractors, or any possible think she/he does like, whatever it feels like, just for the sake of it.

With the indoctrination, when fame and power come in hand, it is noted the obvious possibility of a larval form of an Executive Scammer Scientist (ESS).

How do you spell ESS??? -- The answer is a CAID-ed Scientist!! :P

I will repeat this one more time, as I've realized in the past, along with too many people already:

Science needs to be extended from the Philosophically Positivist Paradigm(PPP -man those acronyms-), for Science needs another revolution (Engineering too, by consequence): Materialistic philosophies are not enough to describe Science.

Advancements in Technology are more Empirical (Trial and Error) than Scientific, from a theoretical perspective. Because of such a reason, any kind of prejudicial ideology can be parroted through.

We should thank, all of our CAID-ed colleagues for that.

Kind Regards, everybody.yonosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00853519252063461784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6274381712003139086.post-44349204436574002672015-02-16T17:05:00.703-06:002015-02-16T17:05:00.703-06:00@Phoenix: and to think, it's all based on thei...@Phoenix: and to think, it's all based on their say-so. What convenience! This is not the first time I have seen atheist Leftists attempt to lift themselves by their own suspenders. It won't be the last.

The trouble is, many people are stupid and greedy and thus, easy to con. The 'scientist' need only present the illusion of rising into the air and the gullible will gladly submit to anything he says or does. Apparently, it beats the alternative, which is doing research and thinking.

Sometimes I don't think people are stupid so much as they are intellectually lazy. Obesity need not be only related to the waistline. The multiverse has promises of unimagineable possibilities, where our natural laws don't apply. It is the only time one can submit to the irrational and illogical with no shame.Phoenixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02173422646774264502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6274381712003139086.post-25132991160678928702015-02-15T23:39:50.894-06:002015-02-15T23:39:50.894-06:00Insult, insult, insult. Accuse, accuse, accuse. ...Insult, insult, insult. Accuse, accuse, accuse. Ridicule, ridicule, ridicule. It would seem this Carroll fellow, a scientist by profession but a poor amateur philospher, has decided it is a good idea to conflate the two.

I am constantly amazed at what those with outsized egos think is reasonable to force on the rest of us. My first response was "You've got to be kidding, right?"

But the truth of the matter is this: if 'brights' like Carroll and Hawking can produce and tout 'proofs' that the universe had no beginning, or that science need only be defined by what we find subjectively useful and pleasing, so much the worse for logic, reason and all that. After all, they're *smarter* than we are, and if it looks like nonsense, well, that's a measure of *our* ignorance, not their arrogance.

As Feynman once remarked, 'philosophers are always on the outside, making stupid remarks'. The age of the intelligentsia demanding that we bow lower and lower to their power fantasies has just about reached its end.

If you think about it, and what causes this sort of diseased thinking, you'd understand that it could never have been otherwise.Steven Satakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03621308678106707775noreply@blogger.com
