If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.”
John 21:25

First, his position is not known.

Second, there are many political issues which Jesus did not address; in fact, there are probably none. In the written histories (Gospels) Jesus did not advocate for a great many things, say public health systems, nor revolution against “the Man”, nor a minimum wage, etc. He did not even advocate for democracy, life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, nor fraternite', egalite' et liberte'. That is not what Jesus was all about. His message was intensely personal, not political systems, radical overthrow (progressivism), nor social policy.

I think it qualifies as a Category Error.

The expectation of finding X by searching Y is always a logic failure. Atheists already approve of the use of Category Error when they espouse Philosophical Materialism.Stanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15754447145433452423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6274381712003139086.post-44847914250431263592015-11-25T18:41:56.538-06:002015-11-25T18:41:56.538-06:00Stan

They usually ask "where did Jesus condemn slavery?"

Does this tactic qualify as a guilt by association fallacy. If someone does not explicitly condemn an act then such a person is equal to any group which engages in the act.Phoenixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02173422646774264502noreply@blogger.com
