Folks, I am about to clean house here, removing the trolls yet again. Seems like every six months or so, a good pest removal is in order. This time it is a troll calling itself Choices, which person refuses to address the arguments given him, claiming there are none (typical Atheist move to avoid demonstrating their intellectual inability to support their own worldview rationally); engaging in blatant childish mimicry Tu Quoques; failing to accept its failure of logic by ignoring it; and generally displaying its emotional response rather than even attempting a rational discussion of the charges against it.
This has been tolerated up to the point of the troll demonstrating its mindless childishness, which is a waste of my time. This troll has one last chance to address the arguments made against it, and to address them in a logical straight forward manner without dissembly or deviation. If it fails to do so, then the blog will be put back on moderation for a while.
There are some other trolls here which are on the hairy edge as well. It would do them well to view the Rules of the Blog.

Good call. It's no fun reading through endless, mindless rants coming from bored egoists. Doesn't take long to figure out what they are, either. They never actually read what you write and then respond to *that* - they twist and turn and change their ground every five minutes.
When you eventually point out they've shifted back to ground that has already been disproven, they dissolve into insults and long multi-syballic rage screams. But - only if they didn't *start* that way first.
All the while claiming the moral and intellectual high ground.
There is no possibility of rational discussion with someone who *will not* recognize contradictions and other lapses of reason in their own responses.
It, for them, has been and always will be about what they *want*. Everything else, even reason, is disposable.
- I said I was done discussing the topic, it's illogical to claim I was trolling
- I never mentioned I was an Atheist, it's illogical to infer I am because of my stance on abortion, other Christians LIKE ME disagree with you
Great conclusion!
@Choices: spouting off about how Stan's conclusions are 'illogical' is just about the best way you could have confirmed his decision.
Good riddance. If you're a Christian, you're a lazy, muddled, irrational mess of a Christian. I will not miss you.
Choices:
My regret is that you have never engaged the topic under discussion, the viewpoint expressed by Mary Elizabeth Williams in her Salon article; I sincerely wish that you had. I have no animosity toward you for dismissing (without bothering to read any of it) everything that I've posted. If you only wish to respond to the blog host, that's your choice. I have no interest in whether you self-identify as Christian or atheist or any other category; I'd like to see reasoned arguments pro and con for Mary Elizabeth Williams' position. Stan and I (and others) have given the "con" side of the argument; I would have liked to see ONE reasoned argument in support of the original article. So far, I wait in vain...
