AGW Is Like...Scurvy?

WSJ carries a rebuttal to the officious and Papal declaration of Kerry:
McNider and Christy: Why Kerry Is Flat Wrong on Climate Change
Kerry's admonition sounded very Popish, if the Pope were Pope Urban VIII, and 400 years old. Says Kerry:
"We should not allow a tiny minority of shoddy scientists" and "extreme ideologues to compete with scientific facts."
Of course, Kerry is right. It's just that he's referring to the wrong group. McNider and Christy offer this graph, which follows a similar thread as one I referred to recently, only this one goes back to 1979:
Maybe these guys are, really, "shoddy scientists/extreme ideologues"; however, Kerry wouldn't have a clue as to whether that's actually the case (he's that way). His idea that no competition should be allowed which might hamper a certain viewpoint smacks of Leftist totalitarianism, and that is a marker of an extreme ideologue. The Left craves a world where they get no backlash or criticism and certainly no attempts at refutation of their moral adventures.
