A former 40 year Atheist analyzes Atheism, without resorting to theism, deism, or fantasy. *** If You Don't Value Truth, Then What DO You Value? *** If we say that the sane can be coaxed and persuaded to rationality, and we say that rationality presupposes logic, then what can we say of those who actively reject logic? *** Atheists have an obligation to give reasons in the form of logic and evidence for rejecting Theist theories.
It is entirely appropriate that the title is the "Vagina Monologues," given the inability of the matriarchy (vagina) worshipers to carry on an intelligent DIALOGUE.
When I first went into system software practice, there were no women in the group. When I found QUALIFIED people (regardless of sex), I hired the most qualified of the candidates - PERIOD. (Oh crap, maybe I shouldn't say "PERIOD;" that might be taken as some kind of subliminal reference to female monthly issues. SOB! I'm such a male sexist bigot! N-O-T! Or as Fred might say, "So what?") I could care less if someone is in possession of a penis or vagina or neither or both. I ended up with a team that was evenly divided between men and women. So what?!? Not one computer system has ever complained, nor expressed any preference for one sex or the other.
Likewise, when I want to read science fiction (which is becoming rarer in favor of science fantasy, or, in a lot of cases, merely fantasy), I don't give a rip whether the author has (or does NOT have) a vagina or penis. I just want a well-written story, that is entertaining and (perhaps) thought-provoking.
