Antifa Revolution Was Kinda Quiet

A friend was telling me today how people on the far right are losing their ability to process reality. They use very few news sources that all link back to each other. They then claim that the evil MSM ignores big stories.
He then gave a recent example. Some guy made up a story of how Antifa was going to start a White genocide on November 4th. He was being purposely sarcastic obviously but, also obviously, right-wing bloggers à la Alex Jones picked it up.
So my instant reaction was... I got to go check Stan's blog! Well, I wasn't disappointed.
Oh the Antifa Nov 4th "revolution" happened alright. It was just Antifas marching around in several cities with false claims on signs. The anti-communists didn't show up so much (mostly not at all), and the Antifas had to get arrested all on their own.
And your "friend" apparently doesn't get the actual news and ought to read more balanced reports by reading the Leftist Fake News first, balanced by the independent actual news, then waiting to see which one turns out to be the case. I do read Alex Jones - about twice a year. So your "friend" has no clue beyond the Leftist echo chamber.
You could have started with the Charlottesville marches, compared the MSM obvious lies with the eyewitness reports and videos. But stick with your narrative. You need THE narrative to filter the news, don't you. The Left is Post Modern, Post-Enlightenment, and totally relative to their own "truth-du-jour", "morality du-jour", and "worldview through the marxist utopian narrative" without regard to actual worldwide Marxist horrors (in the absence of actual truth and morality). There is no truth, there are no facts, so THE narrative filter must be used to keep the Left on track and away from the real world.
I notice that the Left has skipped over any mention of pederasty/pedophilia and has gone in for Incest (don't punish "love") as the new Victimhood Class. Are Islamists under the bus? Yeh, Muslims are so Last Week.
So how will Muslims get along with homosexuals and women, when they're all under the bus together?

Sooo Let's see here. You are apparently asserting (it's hard to tell from that mish-mash above) that Whoopi Goldberg never actually supported Roman Polanski's child-rape, and never said, "I know it wasn't rape-rape. Well, it wasn't RAPE-rape".
Well she did. And she contorts facts and manufactures excuses such as this: 1) the rest of the world doesn't see 13 years old the same way we do. 2) Where were the mothers when all of this was going on? 3) The culture is different now...
Entirely deaf to the fact the Polanski fed the 13 year old girl drugs AND alcohol before raping her.
If you're denying this, you are too tightly cloistered.
Now. Let's see about the Antifa revolution. The claims of "Refuse Fascism.org" actions map onto the activities of Antifa 1:1. In their defense of Antifa, they admit that Antifa has been declared a terrorist organization, and that they support and condone Antifa against their enemies, calling charges against Antifa "collaboration with fascism".
They do "not initiate violence", but have a "legal right to self-defense". Of course they do. And they get to define the nature of defense from "what". They go on to defend "militant protest" and "militant resistance" in order to "drive the fascist Trump/Pence Regime from power". Further, "Silence is complicity, and not making a choice because of a fear of going outside of normal channels and possibly encountering violence allows the horrors of fascism to advance. Those who truly abhor all forms of violence need to honestly ask themselves what they are doing to stand up to the brutal violence of fascism. Staying on the fence with a wait and see attitude is also not a morally neutral position; it is to watch the march of fascism toward genocide and the destruction of the planet, with no more outrage than a shrug of the shoulder. There is no perfectly safe place to wage this struggle. There may be safety for some in staying home and remaining ambivalent, but that comes at a great cost to one’s own humanity.
Refuse Fascism is quite obviously the renamed Antifa. Otherwise they will be thrown in prison for terrorism.
