The stolen data from the now-infamous CRU is being categorized by investigators. One beginning list is here. There will be more comprehensive lists and analyses as time permits the analysts to investigate this find more completely.

Here are some early results from analysts who are gorging themselves on the unexpected release of CRU's data:Emails describing how unfavorable data was withheld from publication, and in this case purposefully truncated to show the desired result, are damning. Also included are the selection of the just-right reference point to show warming in the most dramatic light. And included in this list is the fight against the Freedom of Information Act in Britain that would have forced the release of such data, including plans to destroy the data.
