I'm reluctantly trying out the membership approach to this blog. It always annoys me to have to become a member in order to just reply to someone's comments (which I rarely do). But I'm starting to see that there might be some value in it.
I'm actually not sure how it works from a control standpoint; I guess I'll learn by doing. And if it doesn't work, then I'll revert to open/moderated.
