The national media has just discovered that Obama is black. It's the entire newscast tonight. Black President; yes, BLACK. How do blacks feel about a black president? How do foreigners feel about a black president? How many blacks and minorities voted for a black president? What is the significance of a BLACK president? (Not half white, of course: BLACK).
The news is obvious to all but the newsmen: Obama was elected because he is black. No white candidate could have drawn the massive anonymous funding or the huge minority turnout. Hillary? Biden? Of course not.
In their uncontained ecstacy the newsmen wallow and grovel in the blackness of the One. No mention of his hidden past; his undocumented rise; his consistently radical known associations; his resort to racism and lawsuits when criticized; his promise to further radicalize the country. No, Obama is now very black. Only black. And his blackness elevates him beyond any normal political experience. It is now a "revolutionary, epoch-making, epiphany driven, historic experience" beyond capability of description. The One is risen. The savior is with us, and change will happen.

It makes me wonder if any criticisms of the president-elect will be interpreted as racist.
