The Conversation Which the Left Cannot Allow

The recent national intense focus on race was started by the attention given to the Zimmerman/Martin case. That case was not designated as "racial" by the police, the prosecution or the defense. It was designated as "racial" by the media, and by the white and black leftist racial agitators. Accompanied by racial slurs on whites in general, Zimmerman was declared to be a “white hispanic” by media agitators, and falsified audio and other media atrocities followed.

That those who are accused of racism should defend themselves is now called racist. That pointing out the lying that the Left indulged themselves in, is now called racist. That pointing out the hypocrisy of the Left's ignoring the daily black on black slaughters in the Leftist ghetto plantations is now called racist. Questioning the Left's actual racist agitation and racial suppression is now called racist.

I admit to not knowing exactly how Martin wound up on top of Zimmerman and got shot; the Leftists, on the other hand, claim to know with precision: it was racial profiling, a mental process inside Zimmerman’s head. To call that faux "knowledge" impossible to ascertain is absurdly called racist.

Many blacks claim to want a conversation on race. What that seems to mean is that they want a platform from which to blame all their issues on someone else, to do it loudly, and to be the sole speakers on the issue. Any sounds from the “Other” would be racist. The Other must silently accept the accusations of the racial agitators.

There are now more and more blacks who demur from such racially incestuous nonsense. I have mentioned a number of them previously, and now I will provide two more. Will they be vilified as being Uncle Toms, or “not black enough” as is commonly claimed of other off-the-reservation blacks? They speak out regardless, and courageously.

Gregory Kane, columnist for the Washington Examiner, writes about Professor Carol Swain, who “demands honesty about Trayvon Martin”.
"Swain, a black woman, became my hero way back in 2002, when she stood her ground before an overwhelmingly black crowd at Delaware State University - a Historically Black College or University - in opposing reparations for slavery.

"More recently, Swain posted a comment of Facebook in which she took Sybrina Fulton, mother of Trayvon Martin, to task for what she said was Fulton blowing an opportunity to lead a genuinely meaningful movement for change in America.

"As I did with Miceli, I'll post her comments in their entirety:
"Trayvon Martin's mother is missing an opportunity to lead a social movement. America needs a conversation about the unfortunate plight of thousands of young black men who have adopted unhealthy lifestyles.

"High unemployment, black-on-black crime, and hopelessness are factors that must be addressed. Individual choices and wrong internalized messages have led to the devaluation of human life in the black community at every stage of development.

"The devaluation in human life is reflected in our abortion rates and the willingness to accept high black-on-black murder rates. We can do better!"

"Fulton, and Tracy Martin, Trayvon Martin's father, seem more interested in becoming bona fide left-wingers - under the misguidance of the Revvum Al Sharpton - than in steering young black men away from "unhealthy lifestyles."

"That's why, in all their recent public appearances, both have bemoaned the plight of "black and brown boys." You know you're listening to a bona fide black leftist when that person starts talking about "black and brown" this, that or the other, as if blacks and Latinos are now the same racial group.
And this:

"Miceli summed up the recent killings in Baltimore this way: "The problem seems to be a total disregard for life that exists not only in our crime-ridden city, but also in all the major cities throughout the United States."

"Now recall how Swain put it:
"Individual choices and wrong internalized messages have led to the devaluation of human life in the black community at every stage of development.

"The devaluation in human life is reflected in our abortion rates and the willingness to accept high black-on-black murder rates."
"Swain is one black American who's faced the nasty truth that the average black homicide victim didn't die like Trayvon Martin, at the hands of a half-white and half- Latino volunteer neighborhood watch captain.

"The average black homicide victim met his fate at the hands of another black man. But don't expect Sybrina Fulton to ever admit that."

These courageous people are outlining the real conversation which must be had regarding race. It is the exact conversation which the Left shouts down, because it outlines their incompetent programs and will result in the necessary admission of their racist codependent suppression tactics in their pursuit of Will To Power.

More on Republicans, Democrats and Racism of the Left

Here are half a dozen random observations:

(1) Calvin Coolidge, a Republican, advocated for civil rights and appointed blacks to positions in government:
"Coolidge spoke out in favor of civil rights. He refused to appoint any known members of the Ku Klux Klan to office, appointed African Americans to government positions and advocated for anti-lynching laws. In 1924, Coolidge signed the Indian Citizenship Act, granting full citizenship to all Native Americans while permitting them to retain tribal land rights."

(2) Warren G. Harding, a Republican, supported "civil liberties for African Americans".

(3) Woodrow Wilson, a Democrat:
"Although Wilson promised African Americans "fair dealing...in advancing the interests of their race in the United States", the Wilson administration implemented a policy of racial segregation for federal employees.[3] Although considered a modern liberal visionary giant as President, in terms of implementing domestic race relations, however, Wilson was "deeply racist in his thoughts and politics, and apparently was comfortable being so."[4]

(4) Harry Truman, Democrat, was accused, probably falsely, of being a two year member of the Klan. In actuality, Truman favored civil rights for blacks, angering southern Democrats and splitting the party:
"In February 1948, the president submitted a civil rights agenda to Congress that proposed creating several federal offices devoted to issues such as voting rights and fair employment practices.[157] This provoked a storm of criticism from Southern Democrats in the runup to the national nominating convention, but Truman refused to compromise, saying: "My forebears were Confederates ... but my very stomach turned over when I had learned that Negro soldiers, just back from overseas, were being dumped out of Army trucks in Mississippi and beaten."[158] Tales of the abuse, violence, and persecution suffered by many African American veterans upon their return from World War II infuriated Truman, and were a major factor in his decision to issue Executive Order 9981, in July 1948, desegregating and requiring equal opportunity in the Armed Forces.[159] After several years of planning, recommendations and revisions between Truman, the Committee on Equality of Treatment and Opportunity and the various branches of the military, Army units became racially integrated.[160]

Another executive order, also in 1948, made it illegal to discriminate against persons applying for civil service positions based on race. A third, in 1951, established the Committee on Government Contract Compliance (CGCC). This committee ensured that defense contractors did not discriminate because of race.[161][162]

(5) A KKK threat against Carpetbaggers (Republicans from the North). Note that the KKK is a donkey in the cartoon:

(6) The modern Leftist affection for Che Guevara has hit the news; Guevara, besides being a cheerful mass murderer, was racist:

"The blacks, those magnificent examples of the African race who have maintained their racial purity thanks to their lack of an affinity with bathing, have seen their territory invaded by a new kind of slave: the Portuguese."

"The black is indolent and a dreamer; spending his meager wage on frivolity or drink; the European has a tradition of work and saving, which has pursued him as far as this corner of America and drives him to advance himself, even independently of his own individual aspirations."

Examining Black Loyalty To Democrats

More Grasping At Straws To Salvage The Racist Narrative and Leftist Political Correctness

The Language Police at work:

Be advised! According to LegalInsurrection, the following terms are racist:

"Chink in the armor"; "brown bag"; "citizen". These are additions to the following: " Black List, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Rejigger, Providence Plantations, Black Friday, Gobbledygook, Illegal Immigrant, Undocumented Immigrant, Master Bedroom, and even the use of white copy paper."

Actually one should probably not use the words "white" or "brown" or "yellow" in any context. When aliens finally show up here, we'll have to retire the word "blue" as well.

The term "wetback" was abandoned long ago, because, after all, the Rio Grand river is only waist deep.

Acceptable terms include, "Cracker or cracka", "whitey", "fly overs", "Red Neck", "hillbilly", "hick", "homophobe", "raaaacist", "Uncle Tom", and "Tea Party equals the KKK". Also, "cunt", "whore or ho", and "nasty little chancre sore on the underside of George Wallace's ass".

Specially reserved terms include, "nigger", "boys, or boyz", "fag or faggot", "queer", "queen".

They will, of course, let us know when they are further offended.

ADDENDUM:
As used by A Naturalist, in describing me: "You fucking racist!" This would go under Specially reserved terms.

From the National Black Republican Association

This is one segment of many from the National Black Republican Association site:

The Democratic Party Owes Blacks An Apology

As author Michael Scheuer stated, the Democratic Party is the party of the four S's: slavery, secession, segregation and now socialism. Clearly, then, it is the Democratic Party that owes black Americans an apology – not the Republican Party, nor the United States of America.

The time is long overdue for the Democratic Party to apologize for that party’s nearly 200-year history of racism and cease using racial politics for partisan political gain. Only then can we finally end the racial divisiveness that has torn our nation asunder.

National Democratic Party leaders should follow the example set by the Democratic Party leaders in North Carolina, who, as a result of the 1898 Wilmington Race Riot Commission Report of May 31, 2006, issued a unanimous apology on January 20, 2007 for the Democratic Party's 1898 murderous rampage where dozens of black Americans were massacred. That apology can be viewed on the Internet at: http://www.ncdp.org/node/1546.

In a letter to the North Carolina Democratic Party, then North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Richard H. Moore wrote: “We can no longer ignore the fact that many of us grew up being taught a much sanitized – and inaccurate – history…. The truth is ugly.

The ugly racist history of the Democratic Party prompted Wayne Perryman to write his two books. One is "Unfounded Loyalty: An In-depth Look Into The Love Affair Between Blacks and Democrats". The other is “Whites, Blacks & Racist Democrats: The Untold History of Race & Politics Within The Democratic Party From 1792 – 2009.” Perryman then filed a lawsuit against the Democratic Party demanding an apology on behalf of black Americans. However, after admitting their history of racism under oath in court, the Democrats refused to apologize and, with an army of lawyers, used the legal technicality of “standing” to avoid a court order against them, knowing they can take the black vote for granted.

And this:

The “Dixiecrats” Remained Democrats

The so-called “Dixiecrats” remained Democrats and did not migrate to the Republican Party. The Dixiecrats were a group of Southern Democrats who, in the 1948 national election, formed a third party, the State’s Rights Democratic Party with the slogan: “Segregation Forever!” Even so, they continued to be Democrats for all local and state elections, as well as for all future national elections.

It's Probably Not Really Cosmic Justice, But...

...maybe things would have gone better for these guys in Egypt if they hadn't raped all those women and killed those Christians when they had the chance to behave themselves:

Islamists in Egypt face popular backlash. (WaPo)

These poor folks are now reaping the whirlwind, it appears:
Criticism of the Muslim Brotherhood had been building for months, as citizens griped about a declining economy and what some called the group’s determination to dominate this nation’s power structure. But since Morsi was toppled, the complaints have exploded into a full-throttled fury at his supporters, demonstrating the dangerous polarization in this nation that is a key U.S. ally.

In the weeks since the July 3 coup, Egypt’s military and the interim government — which is made up largely of liberals and stalwarts of the Hosni Mubarak era — have cast Morsi’s Islamist supporters as evil-willed “terrorists,” child abusers and spies. The Egyptian media have whipped up the anti-Islamist fervor with dramatic reports that the Muslim Brotherhood dismisses as lies.

On the streets, where hundreds of thousands of ordinary Egyptians joined protests in June to oust Morsi, there is a willing audience for the new government’s charges.

“The treatment has changed for the worse,” said Osama Ibrahim, an imam at a Cairo mosque that caters to hard-line Islamists.

The nation’s turmoil has seeped into his daily life in the Cairo neighborhood of Ain Shams, he said. “On the metro, they call us names. People come up to us and say, ‘How are you, Sheik Morsi?’” he said.

He said his wife, who wears a face veil, saw men in their neighborhood yank the veil off another woman draped in black. At another point, local men stopped the couple’s car and barred them from entering a marketplace, Ibrahim said, because of the way they were dressed.

“You have to understand: The minibuses don’t even stop for me anymore,” he said.
Is that the equivalent of rape and murder? Well, no; still, it is discrimination. But it's not cosmic justice.

Which Of These Kids Looks Like Obama's Son?

Let's see how many empathetic Leftists set up a sanctimonious howl, organize 100 city protests, and demand civil rights actions against the poor black kids in this racial attack:

We'll wait. When do the marches start?

Grasping For Straws While Drowning in a Sea of Lies: The “Southern Strategy” Myth Rides Again

In 1981, Lee Atwater was recorded responding to an interviewer’s question by outlining a hypothetical strategy that would work for a political party to get Southern voter support. An audio version of that interview is here:

Well, not the entire interview, only the surgically edited “select” portion. Be sure to note the prejudicial introductory screens. Then, if you’re interested go here for a typical Leftist self-righteous view of Atwater’s interview.

What, exactly does the taped interview with Atwater actually say? In other words, what sort of historical facts does Atwater use in his hypothesis? Note that it is a hypothesis he is offering, not a revelation of an actual program, and also note that the tape stops well short of revealing the nature of Atwater’s thoughts. Now why would such editing be done? Why do network news crews do similar cut jobs? Are actual facts not in their favor?

What Atwater describes is a political party approach to appeal to white southern voters where…
“…you start out in 1954 by saying nigger, nigger, nigger. By 1968 you can’t say nigger, that hurts, there’s a backlash, so you say stuff like forced busing, states rights and all that stuff. And you’re getting so abstract now, you’re talking about cutting taxes, and all of these things you’re talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is, blacks get hurt worse than whites. [the tape stops here] And subconsciously maybe that is part of it, I’m not saying it.

But I’m saying that if it is getting that abstract and that coded, then we’re doing away with the racial problem one way or another. You follow me? ‘Cause obviously sitting around saying, we want to cut taxes, we want to cut this, and we want–is much more abstract than even the busing thing, and a hell of a lot more abstract than nigger, nigger. So any way you look at it, race is coming on the back burner.”

Atwood describes three types of concerns that must be exploited in order to appeal to white southerners:

1) Racism, in 1954:
In 1954, which party was saying “nigger, nigger, nigger” in order to get the white southerner vote? Democrats. (Bull Connor; the defenders of Democrat conceived and perpetuated Jim Crow laws to suppress the blacks).
2) Racism and independence in 1968:
In 1968, which party was saying “forced busing, states rights” etc. in order to get the white southerner vote? Democrats. (e.g. Jesse Helms, D. S.C.)
http://www.learnnc.org/lp/editions/nchist-postwar/6101
3) Economic Concerns after 1968:
Starting with Kennedy and going through Johnson, Keynesian tax cuts were a Democrat program, renounced by Republicans due to the inflationary consequences.
http://chuck.hubpages.com/hub/Democrat_vs_Republican_Tax_Cuts_
So to which party was Lee Atwater referring? Not Republicans. He was describing the historical path taken by the Democrats as the race platform was being transformed by the actions of the Republicans.

Historically, Johnson turned the Democrat Party to Northern Democrats, as the Democrat party capitulated to its uber-leftist wing, turning from overt racism to covert racism via proto-socialism.

Nixon was pro-black, and Affirmative Action was passed under him.

When Reagan beat Carter, it was not due to race because the race issue was obsolete; it was due to twin disasters of Carter’s years: economic stagflation (which hurt blacks disproportionaltely), and cowardly foreign policy. Tax cuts held universal appeal, and the Iranian hostage crisis showed Carter to be weak and indecisive and irrational (he had already revealed the names of CIA operatives on the ground around the world, endangering their lives before they could get out of their operations). A further incentive for the southern voter to turn Republican was disaffection with unions. Plus, many southerners had long since soured on the New Deal progressivism, and the big government being espoused by contemporary Democrats.

Considering the South to be monodimensional around race is a stereotype necessary to the survival of the Leftist Narrative, which includes the generation of the myth of the Southern Strategy as a Republican conspiracy.

The myth of the racist Southern Strategy is based on purposeful misinterpretation of Atwater’s theory of how Democrat racism was phased out of the political conversation and into covert Leftist programs – due to pressure from Republican anti-racial accomplishments. It is accompanied frequently by the careful prejudicial editing of Atwater’s statement. When coupled with willful ignorance of actual history, Atwater’s “Southern Strategy” is morphed into a conspiracy theory regarding Republicans based on nothing whatsoever of rational value, and it is easily refuted by looking at historical facts and comparing them with what Atwater actually said.

As an unsupported conspiracy theory, it is useful in using faux racism for blaming Republican opposition to the Democratic Messiah/Victim programs which maintain the blacks in their Victimhood perception of too inferior to compete without the direct help of their Messiah grantors of largesse.

Not looking into facts while pursuing their tribal Narrative is specific to those who irrationally pursue conclusions which have false premises; this is done because the tribal Narrative is a moral imperative which must be rationalized however necessary. Truth must not defeat the Narrative. Desperation requires desperate actions.

Well, truth does, in fact, defeat the Leftist tribal narrative. QED.

In a worldview where there is no Truth, there also are no lies. Re-read "Rules For Radicals" occasionally to refresh your understanding of the Left and its claims. RFR, pg 26: "The most unethical of all means is the non-use of any means."
