If we say that the sane can be coaxed and persuaded to rationality, and we say that rationality presupposes logic, then what can we say of those who actively reject logic?

Atheists have an obligation to give reasons in the form of logic and evidence for rejecting Theist theories.

Interesting conversation
Over at "THE TYGRRRR EXPRESS", there was a conversation that addressed Christopher Hitchen's "challenge to Christians". The challenge was was inane enough that even the atheists aboard took it apart. But the interesting thing about the blog and comments was not the Hitchen's connection, it was two other things. First the blog post and the comments were civil. Second, it induced several commenters to write out their beliefs, their waverings, their disbeliefs for the first time. They were honored and not belittled. This is the type of discourse that commands respect. There were some silly gaffes and logical lapses and their authors were called on it...but not ridiculed. It is so uncommon to see civility in these blog situations that it almost seems surreal. So hats off to TYGRRRR EXPRESS, more power to you.
