Ventura, Calif. (AP) - The family of a gay teenager who was fatally shot in class blames the school district for allowing their son to wear makeup and feminine clothing to school - factors the family claims led to the death.

The parents and brother of 15-year-old Larry King of Oxnard filed a personal injury claim against the Hueneme school district seeking unspecified damages for not enforcing the dress code.

If the school district had not allowed the homosexual student to wear the drag clothes to school, what would have changed? The lawsuit would have come first, forcing the school to allow him to wear his "kink wear" as the Folsom Street Homosexuals call it. Sooner or later the student would have worn his homosexual get-up to school; the parents are the only ones who could stop it. This lawsuit is in effect a denial by the parents of their responsibility and culpability in the affair.

However, if this succeeds in the California bizarro courts, the decks might start to be stacked against the intrusion of homosexual mores into the school systems, an unanticipated eventuality to say the least. This one might be worth following.

In the meantime the killer will be punished with additional penalties for having killed an uber-protected individual. Had he shot the next person over, he would get off a lot easier, even if he had truly hated that individual. The world of relative moral codes is a zany one.
