Until last week, Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama's pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group's Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for "global governance" and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.The distribution of wealth to the nonproductive is in full swing right now, as hundreds of billions are pumped into non-producers such as banks and speculators. These billions have produced no results. Obama has already decided not to help small businesses in any way. The taxing will shutter even more.
By Thursday, Mrs. Browner's name and biography had been removed from Socialist International's Web page, though a photo of her speaking June 30 to the group's congress in Greece was still available.
A light glimmers though, as activists now blame Robert Redford and environmentalism for its racism. This could be the first crack in the Leftist facade. The Left is always little more than a coagulation of interest groups pushing their own form of radical ethics. Such does not present a permanent crosslinked strength and actually generates its own internal crises that threaten the entire fabric. Can congress pass an environmental bill that is seen as racist? Can it protect Americans while pandering to its attackers? Can it protect its borders from incursion while it coddles illegal aliens?
Because Leftists live in non-coherence, they are their own worst enemy.
