A person claiming the intellectual clout of his own credentials as proof of the logic of his sputterings is dissected by Vox Day. As is common amongst materialist PhDs, the aura of themselves sometimes obscures the need for actual application of the basic principles of logic to their considerable output. It is actually painful to observe such blatant fallacies as the Appeal to Authority when the authority in question is the person himself. The fallacy is used to negate any need for fundamental rational concepts.
In this case, the fundamental idea that (!M) cannot be expected to be found when the search for it is restricted to (M) is completely absent.
Rationality is not a function of intellect, nor of the number of PhDs in one's portfolio, nor of one's incredible resume' of a lifetime's labor in the esoteria of the material realm.
Rationality is a function of conscious use of basic principles, and conscious rejection of dogmatic rigor mortis of the mind.
