Global Warming, Hurricanes, and Scientific Totalitarians

The oceanic warming of the Atlantic has been correlated with a new factor: dust reduction. In a NOAA and U. Wisconsin-Madison study, the small but vital oceanic temperature differences year-to-year reflect large differences in hurricane activity, and the temperature changes are related to atmospheric dust which reflects heat when it is present in the atmosphere.

“In the new study, they combined satellite data of dust and other particles with existing climate models to evaluate the effect on ocean temperature. They calculated how much of the Atlantic warming observed during the last 26 years can be accounted for by concurrent changes in African dust storms and tropical volcanic activity, primarily the eruptions of El Chichón in Mexico in 1982 and Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines in 1991.
In fact, it is a surprisingly large amount, Evan says. "A lot of this upward trend in the long-term pattern can be explained just by dust storms and volcanoes," he says. "About 70 percent of it is just being forced by the combination of dust and volcanoes, and about a quarter of it is just from the dust storms themselves."

Undoubtedly this information was not used in any of the disaster simulation computer programs that are being used to terrify the populace into accepting the draconian move toward world government and wealth distribution that will be the agenda at the next AGW conference in Bonn Germany, starting tomorrow. In an exclusive report here, the new conference will proceed far beyond the Kyoto Treaty. The original Kyoto document was left unsigned by the U.S., and the Bonn version will have a much better chance of signature by the new, Leftist government in the USA.

There seems little room to doubt that all the factors going into a warming climate are actually unknown. When they will be all known and understood is a point that is hard to identify. But regardless of the unknowns, and regardless of the outcome of global interference in the economies of individual nations, the Statists will pursue overarching control of the entire world, under the banner of environmentalism and Anthropogenic Global Warming. These are political totalitarians in the guise of scientific pursuits: Scientific Totalitarianism.
