The choice is not between a "deathtrap recession" and mortgaging our children's future. It is between allowing failed corporations to fail, be restructured and resuscitated by more responsible owners, and throwing the fiscal future of the country into those irresponsible corporations - blindly and without transparency - by the same people who brought the crisis about in the first place.
Would you give your children's birthright to your drunken, druggy brother-in-law under the same conditions: buy yourself out of your mess?

Yep, to both observations. The chart shows the spending that the Left whined about under Bush, vs. the spending planned by Obama.
