Homosexualmisia: the New Hate Word

Over at Al Stefani’s “A Voice of Reason” blog, the topic is how to make up an all new hate word to describe anyone who disagrees with the homosexual agenda to install amorality into the culture. That’s not how they view it of course. It is, after all, a voice of “Reason” site. So their form of “reasoning” goes like this: no one actually is afraid of homosexuals, so homophobia just doesn’t do the trick for something obnoxious to call the opposition. What we need is something that attaches “hate” to the opposition, and we need a psychological-sounding name with some Latin in it for official-tudeness. Hence, howz about ”homosexualmisia”? That will show everyone that to disagree is just psycho. It's a pejorative with some bite to it. It’ll teach those homosexualmisiacnipods that they can’t disagree without being attached to hate. It's the only argument we actually have.

Predictably, some of the commenters liked their own suggestions better, such as “homomisia” and “queermisia”, but I’m sure that they will come up with something with which to attempt to denigrate their opposition (at least in their own eyes).

The blogger trots out the horrific stories about the perils of being homosexual, especially a homosexual child. For paragraphs he goes on toward cinching the concept that all “straights” (that presumptively hateful word which really originated in homosexual-land) are all totally consumed with hate and want to visit violence upon homosexuals. He implies that Chick fil A is guilty of rhetoric condoning murder and assault as well as hate speech. Histrionic much?

”History reveals that religion is the catalyst, either directly or indirectly, for all of the bigotry, hatred, intolerance, discrimination and crimes against the LGBT community. Homophobia and homosexualmisia would be non-existent without religious doctrine. Period. End of story. Bigotry has no place in modern society.”
The takeaway here is that sliding amorality is seizing the day, and actual morality is a problem; we'll call that bigotry. So it is necessary to refer to all opposition with hateful, pseudopsychological denigrations. That will fix everything. In fact, it actually is the eradication of religion that really will fix everything:

”The attitudes and actions by the religious toward the LGBT community are another reason why we’d be better off a completely secular society.”
Here he asserts the standard Atheist amnesia regarding actual Atheist secular societies where homosexuals do considerably worse than in the USA where they are protected by “thought crime” laws which produce harsh punishments for crimes against homosexuals. The only actual remaining homosexual legal inequality is marriage. And to object to their program to attain marriage for amorality is calculatedly being equated with the brutality against homosexual youth (as if Christians or anyone condones that in the USA). In fact the brutality is directly equated with religion.

The Victim card and Victimization-as-a-psychological-tool are being worked overtime these days, and anyone who will not be cowed by threats of being called “haters” will have to wait for an even worse name to be concocted… maybe Victimizationmisia? We’ll have to see. They are quite good at name calling; that’s how they fix things.
