The most transparent Administration in the universe just sneaked in a 60% increase in the "carbon tax" in the standards for microwave ovens. The policy change was otherwise unannounced, but got noticed anyway. The effects could hit every American in the ol' worn out wallet, because they affect all energy production, including the cost of producing wind generators.
The tax is to compensate for presumptive costs of Global Warming. With Global Cooling now predicted by some, will there be a rebate if the climate reverses from hot to cold? Why would I even ask such a stupid question? (Because I can).
