If I've learned anything about climate science over the years, it's that the climate responds to human activity according to the intentions of the people involved. e.g. my Accord is killing the planet, but Al Gore's chartered jets are not a problem.

It is a very robust law in nature. If you have good intentions toward women, your are allowed to sexually harrass, assualt, and exploit them. And if you are a rock solid defender of abortion, you get at least one free rape as well.
