A former 40 year Atheist analyzes Atheism, without resorting to theism, deism, or fantasy. *** If You Don't Value Truth, Then What DO You Value? *** If we say that the sane can be coaxed and persuaded to rationality, and we say that rationality presupposes logic, then what can we say of those who actively reject logic? *** Atheists have an obligation to give reasons in the form of logic and evidence for rejecting Theist theories.
Jay:takes a random statement from an atheist that isn't intended to be an argument and claims its an argument for atheism
The Atheist's only intent is to insult and ridicule in support of atheism because he/she is unable to utilize the discipline of logic. Most Atheists learn a few fallacy names off the web and now believe they have logic on their side ,like magic.
Oh Jay, you are sooo predictable. You're a walking strawman yourself.
Name one strawman I erected

Your little rant is cute and all, but has nothing to do with my post. Heres a magical fallacy you committed - Red herring
Jay: The statement is made as a declaration of fact; prove that it is not, in its complete essence, just this:
P1: [religious people are stupid]; [I am not religious]; Therefore [I am far more intelligent than religious people].
That is the complete argument which he makes, implicitly.
So your frail complaint is without merit.
Further the nature of the argument is also without merit, because actual IQ data shows mass skewing on the low side of the IQ curve (below the norm). The Atheist IQ curve is double-peaked (non-gaussian), with a small peak above the norm, due to the little minority of academics with higher IQs, and the main population below the norm.
And finally, the argument is textbook narcissistic.
There's no red herring involved.I suggest you look up the actual meaning, which has nothing to do with magic. The topic is: "religious people are stupid".It's only an assertion, not a complete deductive argument, with zero evidence to back it up.Atheist claim logic and evidence, yet none has been presented. If you have any logic or evidence, bring it.
