Elections Have Consequences

Glenn Harlan Reynolds, USA TODAY:
Public servants acting as public masters
In talking with a young man of my acquaintance yesterday, a hard worker who had just turned 30, I discovered that he was entirely unaware of the Children's Tsunami from 75 countries that afflicts not only our southern border, but many, many cities and towns where the children (some of whom are diseased, others gang members or cartel members, others from ebola regions) are taken under cover of darkness... and unceremoniously dumped. He was appalled to hear that they are sent by our government as far as Alaska, Hawaii, and the Virgin Islands, as well as to blue areas like Boston and NYC, on top of small towns all over the map.

He was shocked to hear it, and even further shocked to hear about the Cloward-Piven plan to overload all American support systems in order to crash them, create chaos from which utopia would be forced to arise.

He seemed further shocked to hear that virtually all of Obama's influencing relatives were communists and his friends, leftists and revolutionaries.

The ignorance of this generation is completely appalling. These people are both good and nice; but they are completely encapsulated in their own affairs, and their 250 channels of 24/7 65" HD TV never seems to include actual, factual news. I think all they know about Obama is that he is that nice black dude with a nice smile that we elected to be the first black dude president.

This is the definition of the "herd" which the Left seeks to create and rule: adequate six packs of beer, government cheese and unemployment checks to spend on lottery tickets, and immoral sitcoms on all channels for a cheap laugh.

And "not a smidgen of corruption" to be found anywhere, especially with Eric Holder as the lead investigator.

Excuse me: I feel the urge to purge by vomiting. . .

As far as I am concerned, the younger generation has got things backwards. All their good times are up front, all the hard work is yet to come. Their 'good times' are like socialism itself... works fine until they run out of other people's money.
