Dems on FEC move to regulate Internet campaigns, blogs, DrudgeIf you don't read Drudge, The Hill, or watch FOX (I don't watch FOX), then you very likely don't know what the hyperactive Leftists are up to on a daily or at least regular basis. This stream of information must be stopped if you are a Leftist. The Left already kills all news of their own culture war on their own Leftist information outlets, aka mainstream media. Low information voters know nothing of the multitude of scandals, lies, and corruption that seethes in their government. Just watch, there will be a bunch of "independents" who will "judge the candidates based on their debates" in about 18 months... totally unaware that Obama lied with every sentence in the last debates and fostered massive corruption in the US government.
In a sense, some of the media has always been corrupt. Large newspapers reported the news their owners preferred. The networks didn't fully corrupt until the '80's as best as I recall. But then they went over in a big way. News magazines, Time and Newsweek, also went over around then, although Newsweek was suspect even during the '50's.
But web is open and free. That goes against everything that the Left believes in. They will war on the web until they control it too.
