Infringement of Free Exercise

The Atheists are clear on this subject: You will be punished if your business is based on any moral consideration, and free exercise of religious belief be damned.
Couple fined for refusing to host same-sex wedding on their farm

"Cynthia Gifford took a life-changing two- to three-minute phone call in 2012 from a woman she’d never met, Melisa Erwin, who was looking for a place to hold her wedding. A wedding — to another woman.

Gifford said she told her, politely, that she would not book a same-sex wedding ceremony at the farm.

She didn’t know it at the time, but the woman’s then-fianceĆ©, Jennifer McCarthy, recorded the conversation. The pair then filed a formal complaint with the state Division of Human Rights. And this past August, an administrative-law judge from The Bronx, Migdalia Pares, decreed that the farm was a “public accommodation’’ and ordered the penalties, after ruling that the Giffords had violated state law by discriminating against the two women."
Only under the cerebral perversion of Atheist logic can a private enterprise be declared a "public accommodation". Such redefinitions are part of the Atheist culture of course, as Atheists rewire the world to mirror their own irrationality. And now that they inhabit so much of the government, their irrationality is becoming the law of the land. Their specific aim is to install Atheism/secularism into every conceivable corner of American life so that it is their lack of moral conceptualization which becomes the native system.

When the law has no meaning, the law can be twisted into whatever is the cause du jour.

The result is that the state loses legitimacy.

In order to cast out the bugaboo that is Western Christianity, the Left will burn down everything that makes civilization possible.

Anarcho-tyranny is what we get in exchange.

So the new rules for marriage are reduced consent and nothing but consent. The sex of the individuals is no longer a controlling factor. And soon we will discover that numbers aren't either, as polygamy and polyandry begin to assert themselves. After all, if all that is required is the consent of two -- why not of three or a half dozen?

So when nearly every circumscription of "marriage" has been removed -- when there is almost nothing (asuming consent) that cannot NOT be marriage -- when marriage has become everything, then it will cease to exist and will collapse.

What will be the government interest in such "marriage"? What motivation does the government have to regulate and license such arrangements? Or through force of law to compel others to recognize such marriages? None. And once that fact is recognized, that there is no benefit to be derived from civil marriages either for the government or the couple (at least no benefit that cannot be achieved through other means), government will exit the marriage business, leaving it in the hands of religious institutions where it started.
