The parallels between Leftist Marxism in the USA and Leftist Marxism in China differ only in degree, not in kind. Those who do not think "correctly" according to the Leftist cant are to be silenced using whatever methods are available. In the USA, "hate thought" will soon be corrected, legally, if the domestic Maoists have their way. And "media independence" exists only on the internet, which the American Left is attacking full force right now. And the concept of "universal values" exists in the USA only as "It is true that there is no Truth", and "We must not tolerate intolerance of our Truths" and similar internally non-coherent, but tightly held "Leftist Values". However, the concept that "criticism of Obama is racist" has gone by the wayside, since Obama became toxic to the voters, and hence to the Leftist pols voted out. What is needed now is a Leftist woman president, the criticism of whom will be "sexist".
