TOOOO Funny!

GOP Donors looking at destroying Trump's election with a third party for the GOP elites, so they can siphon off votes from their enemy, The DONALD. Maybe Hillary DOES have a chance...

Donors ask GOP consulting firm to research independent presidential bid

A group of Republicans is moving quickly to research ballot-access requirements for independent candidates in case Trump wraps up the GOP nomination next month.

But “with 38 electoral votes in play in Texas and North Carolina’s true swing state status, failing to qualify in either or both states would render any independent candidate non-viable,” the report's authors wrote. “This is logistically possible but will require immediate action.”

By July 15, the independent candidate would need more than 460,000 voter signatures to make the ballot in 11 states. Assuming an April 1 start date, the campaign would have to gather 4,345 valid signatures per day to maintain a steady pace.
It's a murder-suicide pact in desperation to keep the establishment elites in control... by ceding control to the Democrats in order to deny it to Trump. It's better be in control of a non-entity than to lose it to Trump.

Why, I remember when the establishment elites demanded that there BE NO THIRD PARTY and PARTY LOYALTY IS ESSENTIAL! That was, what? Six months ago? Well that was then, and the party hacks are slimy, as this proves.

Gawd, I love this campaign year - nothing like it in my lifetime, and all due to Trump vs the totalitarian party elite slimebags.

Now, more than ever, both Democrats and Republicans are showing what it is all about - for them.

Acquiring and retaining power, personal and political.

They don't, they can't and they won't represent any of us who do not already have large amounts of personal power ourselves. This is a game to some of them, a deadly serious business to others, but you can be sure that in none of this is there a thought for any of their fellow citizens beyond 'what can I con the rubes into believing next?'

Damn them all. At least they're out in the open, where even the stupidest of us can see them for what they are. And you watch. No one is fooled now, no one has the excuse "but she SAID" or "I thought he was for...". If you back a candidate, it is with open eyes and a clear understanding of who and what they are.

They are corrupted, fallen human beings. If I want to know what's in their rotten hearts, what they'll do next, how far down into the pit they'll go to get what they want, I don't have to look any farther than the bathroom mirror.

As Lewis once wrote, "My heart (I need no other's) showeth me the wickedness of the ungodly".

But that doesn't mean we shouldn't call them out, as Stan does, and do our best to steer between the Scylla and Charybdis of American politics.

To the other people on this board who comment (I already sent Stan an e-mail):

I'll respond in a while. Also, Joe Hinman has revealed his hero worship of Obama, which tells a lot about his furious response earlier.
