How Darwin Destroyed Reason

So Darwin (and evolution) is dodgy because this presenter can advance a number of straw men versions of it, and modern science writ large, based on definitions he presents that few or no actual scientists would accept. Seems legit.

Like Darwinism, you give no specifics. You merely throw out charges without content. If you have a rational rebuttal, then give it straight on. We'll discuss it. As it stands, you have said nothing of value.

One of the greatest things about natural phenomena is that they don't require the assent of the ignorant to proceed. Natural selection and evolution will continue until the end of the universe when and wherever conditions that can support life occur. When humanity has extincted itself on this planet, it will continue as it did before and long after these foolish debates ever happened...

Stan, check out this comment that Tom made. Tom said something about Evolution starting with the first cell capable of multiplying by dividing. Someone asked him where this "magic cell" came from, and he had this to say:

Don't know yet. We're working on it. There are some very promising hypotheses, all involving known and available chemical reactions using stuff we know existed on the early Earth. As far as evolution is concerned, though, it could have been a god what did it in her sleep. Evolution starts with the first cell; anything before that is abiogenesis. How do you confuse this so horribly?

So the random molecules from which "first life" erupted was not ignorant but a highly educated chemical soup? And your proof for that is exactly what?

It should then be called SUPERnatural selection, since it is everywhere at all times and can accomplish magical things.
