The Ideology of Unintended Consequences

How Pence's Dudely Dinners Hurt Women

The vice president—and other powerful men—regularly avoid one-on-one meetings with women in the name of protecting their families. In the end, what suffers is women’s progress.
No sane man would ever find himself alone with a woman he is not married to. And the feminazis made it clear that any accusation by a woman is a fact, while any defense by a man is denied and disallowed. But it goes deeper than that: even the possibility for generating an image of impropriety is and always has been the barrier to avoid. The contrary is to ask forgiveness later, after the man's denials are refused, regardless of what really happened. A male president being alone with a female intern is known to be problematic. A non-Leftist could not survive it, even though Bill Clinton was thoroughly defended by the Left and with their approval maintained his position in their ranks.

Feminists didn't actually cause this. It's a principle that should be self-evident, especially in today's war on men. Feminists merely made this principle look like discrimination. Everything looks like discrimination to an ideology that depends on discrimination for its existence.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

What most of us are doing these days is simple: ignore the people damning you and just what you have to do.
