A former 40 year Atheist analyzes Atheism, without resorting to theism, deism, or fantasy. *** If You Don't Value Truth, Then What DO You Value? *** If we say that the sane can be coaxed and persuaded to rationality, and we say that rationality presupposes logic, then what can we say of those who actively reject logic? *** Atheists have an obligation to give reasons in the form of logic and evidence for rejecting Theist theories.

Not a... Well, It COULD be... But It's Not a Metaphor for SJW Politics on Your Cup
I'm of two minds on this. On the one hand, for the obvious reasons, of course you want to say, "Yuck! Disgusting! I'm never patronizing Starbucks' again.
On the other hand, the truth is fecal bacteria is literally everywhere. Pretty much every surface in your bathroom is covered with it. Door handles, dishes, money -- pretty much everything human hands touch, is covered with it. And fecal bacteria is only the beginning of our problems. Think about (or don't!) the millions of microscopic things crawling around on our skin right now.Truth is, the world is a lot more disgusting than we like to think. For the most part, our immune systems seems to deal with it.
Tony Lewis, the head of policy at the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, said the levels found were "concerning." He said the types of bacteria identified were "the source of human disease," adding: "These should not be present at any level — never mind the significant numbers found."
We don't eat out of bathrooms and bacteria don't survive particularly well in hot drinks, so no, it's not normal by any means.
