I'm not sure how to feel about this, Stan.

On the one hand, the kid is damaged for life, and it's not even a given that he WILL have a life, off of life-support. Isn't this a case of someone having to determine when enough is enough? Not everyone will be pleased with the decision to let the kid die, but... doesn't there come a point when the folks paying for the life support have to say 'let him go'? I'm just asking.

On the other hand, if the kid can be fixed, I would certainly want it so.

I can see why the parents would be distraught. I guess trying again for a healthy baby is not in the cards?
