In the interesting case of Islam and Obama, the Narrative became established that Islam is fundamentally Good, more moral than Christianity and Western Culture. The same goes for socialism vs representative democracy. That is why neither opposition to the nuclear mullahs nor the starvation of Venezuela under Maduro are interesting to the MSM, and are stifled subjects.
