We are still waiting for the promised desecration of the communion / Eucharist crackers. PZ indicated that he received quite a few, indicating to him that they are easy to steal. His blog minions served him well.
But PZ's blog seems uncharacteristically subdued and even... well, science oriented for a change, with chats about movies and conferences, and one small, half-hearted shot at religion.
He's had time to desecrate the cracker; maybe he needs time to man-up to the inevitable backlash, the width and depth of which he now knows he can't predict or control.
I sympathize, to a small extent. When you offend any group, there will be the fringe psychos that want to hurt you. I have removed personal identifying information from my blog for that reason, a necessity I learned the hard way after discovering that some Atheists are willing to go the distance in carrying their moral outrage to the object of their hatred.
But it's too late for that for PZ, he is out there and exposed and always will be. But if he continues with the deliberate, non-rational, temper tantrum, thumb-in-the-eye approach, he will certainly aggravate those whom he hates. I hope he remains more sedate and considered in his approach to Atheism.

Hi Stan,
I'm not Catholic, but IIRC, the communion wafers aren't considered to be "the body and blood of Christ" until after a priest has performed some kind of consecrating ceremony over them. Before then, they're considered just wafers. My guess is that, if one were to pretend to be an official from the RCC, they would be fairly easy to obtain from a Catholic religious supplies store. Don't know that for sure, but it might explain why PZ's minions have been able to get their hands on them.
Possibly so. PZ asked for conscrated wafers, but who knows what he actually received.
