Atrocity vs Atrocity

The Muslims have won. In this war of dueling symbolic atrocities, the Muslims have not blinked, supported by millions of brothers around the world in their goal of erecting a victory mosque near ground zero in NYC. Even the name of the mosque-outreach-or-whatever is a deliberate offense: Cordoba, signifying the Islamic conquest of southern Europe.

The competing symbolic atrocity, designed to illuminate the disparity between cultures by affording Muslims an example of how we feel, has been cancelled after being attacked from all sides, including from all levels of U.S. government. Regardless, Islamic riots continue, with the obligatory flaming U.S. flags, attacks on structures, and yes, death.

The atrocity vs. atrocity, tit for tat ploy, although cancelled, was successful, possibly beyond its intent. What the incident has demonstrated, its teaching moment, is that for a statistically significant portion of the Muslim population, nothing they do to us is an atrocity; the word atrocity applies only to those who offend Muslims. They are incapable of comprehending the offense that the GZ Mosque/whatever represents. In fact, they now claim that stopping the mosque would be an offense against Islam.

And that is the revelation: These Muslims are incapable of comprehending anything outside of Islam, plus they are willing to wreak destruction as holy retribution for anything that offends them. The lives and cultures that exist outside of Islam are of no value; there is no empathy and there is no restraint. Their Islamic culture is narcissistic, sociopathic and homicidal.

If only 1% of a billion Muslims are so afflicted, that is 10 million enemies of enlightenment-based free societies. The 99% of Muslims that might not be so afflicted are now in the limelight, because we, the Other, don’t know if that majority of Muslims will ultimately, when push comes to shove, side with freedom or with a world-wide caliphate under Sharia.

Who will we have to fight? The 10 million? Or the entire billion?

In this skirmish, the Muslims have won. And they have also lost, because even the most preoccupied westerner now understands what we are up against. The unblinking Muslim resolve to build a victory mosque at ground zero, and our inability to induce empathy from the Islamists, these are the clearest of signals. Their intent is conquest, from the inside due to the cowardly nature of Political Correctness, especially when threatened with violence. Or ultimately, by stronger methods, if they cannot capture the votes. After all, they believe that the entire Earth belongs to Allah and the Prophet Muhammad, not to God or freedom or anyone else but themselves. They will force the next world war if they can't force piece-meal global subjugation, which is in-process now, especially in weak African nations.

We, the Other, must prepare for the war with the entire billion, or we stand to be unhappily surprised.
