Obama's Presidency by the Numbers

I think that THIS should go viral.

(caveat: I have not double checked the numbers; but I know they are not in Barack's favor)

See, this is why I hate politics, especially American-blame-the-other-party-for-everything politics.

Most of these stats are related to the recession, not directly to any particular presidency. Liberals blame Bush for the recession (where it started), conservatives blame Obama (where it continues), and if that type of thing floats your boat, have at it, I guess. I'm out, though.

The political system is what we have. It's what is. It's ugly and it's stupid. But it is powerful and becoming evermore so. And there is ideology involved which is hazardous to everyone, and it is political in practice.

Thinking of the recession without thinking of the monetary system and its political connections and corruptions just doesn't make sense to me. Governmental interference directly affects me and you, and government = politics in our world.

Connecting Obama's rhetoric to the consequences of his Keynesian actions seems appropriate. I don't see how you can say that there is no connection to any presidency.

I think the cartoon would have been more accurate with both democrats and republicans behind the car, pushing it toward a cliff, with the driver standing on the brakes.

I don't see the two parties as opposite walls, but as two levels of progressive ideology, one aggressive and the other slightly less.
