Religion of Peace: Spreading It Around

4 Marines Shot and Killed, Gunman Later Killed

"UPDATE: A statement from the U.S. Secretary of the Navy: WASHINGTON (NNS) -- Today, the Navy and Marine Corps team collectively mourn the loss of four heroes. The tragedy in Chattanooga is both devastating and senseless. On behalf of the entire Department of the Navy family, I offer my deepest condolences to the families of those killed and wounded in service to our nation during this incident.

Throughout history our Sailors and Marines have served overseas, in harm's way, and the men and women of the Navy and Marine Corps have experienced the deep and lasting pain of combat loss. Today, here at home, we once again feel that pain.

Not funny and not odd, given the current Political Correctness:

When the story first broke and there were reports that the gunman had been killed, I thought it "odd" that there was absolutely NO information (name, race, religion) mentioned in ALL of the "news" stories. I remarked to my wife. "Uh-oh! That means it's either a black man or a Muslim, or both." In spite of some local attempts to categorize the shooter as a "white man" along with speculation from Leftist media, it turns out my instinct for media bias was correct. At last look, the media is still trying to make him out to be fully American rather than a (perhaps) naturalized Kuwaiti. Daddy was also apparently connected to the terrorist wing of the "religion of peace."

Dead people lie in eternal peace.

The New York Times:

A senior Congressional official who had been briefed by law enforcement officials said Mr. Abdulazeez was a Kuwaiti-born Jordanian who became a naturalized citizen. (Earlier reports spelled the gunman’s name as Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez.)

“Somebody brutally and brazenly attacked members of our armed services,” the Chattanooga police chief, Fred Fletcher, said at a news conference, where Mayor Andy Berke described Thursday as “a nightmare for the city.”

The gunman was not on the government’s radar, but law enforcement officials said that Mr. Abdulazeez’s father had been under investigation several years ago for possible ties to a foreign terrorist organization. At one point, a law enforcement official said that the father was on a terrorist watch list and was questioned while on a trip abroad but that he was eventually removed from the list. The official cautioned that the investigation of the father was old and did generate any information on the son.

Authorities have said they are treating the case -- a grisly scene reminiscent of other shooting rampages at US military installations -- as one of "domestic terrorism."

The FBI has warned against jumping to conclusions about a possible motive, and said so far, there is no information directly linking Abdulazeez -- a naturalized US citizen -- to an international terror group.

But investigators are combing through his computer, cell phone and social media contacts to unearth details about a months-long trip he made to Jordan last year, the New York Times and Wall Street Journal reported.

Let's summarize:

We have had "other shooting rampages at US military installations" - which were promptly classified as "workplace violence," not linked to terrorism of any kind. This case is being treated as if it is "domestic terrorism" because there is no possible suspicion that it "might" (just might, with no possible evidence that it is "probable") have something to do with a radicalized adherent of the "religion of peace." Uh-huh. . . Just like at Fort Hood, there was to be no "leap" to a conclusion of connectivity with Islam just because the assassin shouted "Allahu Akbar" while killing 13 and wounding 28. Purely coincidental, nothing to see here, it happens all the time in the workplace, moving right along with the narrative. . .

The principle of taqiyya utilized by the FBI: nothing (so far) to DIRECTLY connect Mr. Abdulazeez to anyone or any group of terrorists. So, we have an adherent of the "religion of peace" who is NOT radicalized, not connected to any terrorist organization, who spent 7 months in Jordan, who is just going about his normal "peaceful" work day, killing unarmed Marines. I can definitely see how we should not "jump" to any conclusions about a DIRECT link to terrorism.

Since we are NOT "jumping" to any conclusions, then why the intensive combing through of his computer, cell phone and social media contacts to unearth details about his trip to Jordan? Sorry, but that certainly raises the suspicion that somebody is targeting the "religion of peace," trying to tie him to it and to discredit it by association. Call CAIR immediately!

Can't we all just get along and let the poor slob just be dead without trying to probe his state of mind, given his unfortunate and untimely suicide by cop? Think of how the Marines, er, the cops, harassed him for breaking the law,and harassed his poor family merely because of their familial association with him, the harassment of his father for suspected terrorist ties, and how bereaved they must feel right now: they've lost such a good young man, an engineer, someone who had such a promising future and gave it all up for 72 virgins in perpetuity in paradise.

(Forget about the families of those four Marines; after all, those Marines are trained killers of adherents of the "religion of peace" and everyone knows that if they had had the chance, they would have gunned down Mr. Abdulazeez and his family without a second thought right in their home in Chattanooga. He had to kill them in preemptive self-defense.)
