Florida Bill to Make Gun Free Businesses Responsible For Customer Safety.

Bills aims to hold businesses banning guns responsible for customers

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — More and more businesses across the country are banning firearms on their property. Now, a proposed bill in the state Legislature aims to make those businesses responsible for the safety of customers who may be left vulnerable without access to their weapon.

Michael Sfakianos is a concealed weapons permit holder and values his right to carry his gun in public.

“If something were to happen, how long does it take for law enforcement to get there or someone else to help me out?” he asks. “I’m responsible for my own well-being, my own life.”

As a manager at Bill Jackson’s gun shop in Pinellas Park, Sfakianos and many of his customers stay up on both federal and state laws regulating firearms and now are reacting to Florida Senate Bill 610, which aims to make businesses banning guns solely responsible for the safety of customers, including concealed weapons permit holders who are not allowed to bring their guns inside.

“I have seen those posted signs and it annoys me a little bit," he says. "It’s almost like stating to everyone 'Here’s a gun free zone, if you want to do something this is the place to do it.’
These places always disarm the law-abiding, but never check to see if someone is sneaking a weapon into the free-fire zone. It's their rule; they're responsible for the consequences.

My son was at school in France from October to the following January 2016. One of the first things they told the international students, especially the Americans, was that they were not to defend themselves, that they would be arrested if caught with a weapon of any sort.

Europe, at least in some places, fully expects you to rely completely on the State for your every need. Common sense says there's little good closing the barn after the horse has gotten out, but apparently the Europeans have a culture where that sort sense isn't very common.

From my understanding, it takes a reasonably responsible person to create, own and run a business in a proper fashion. In order to satisfy the demands of the customers/clients needs the owner must have the upper hand on the basics of common cense. That being said; Who does the proprietor contact when trouble comes into their establishment...The guys with the guns right?
Or does his/her common cense level reach down so low as to ask them to leave the firearm in their vehicle before being permitted onto the premises??? If it were not for Our Country Dominating Tyranny through the use of our Troops & Their Firearms (from the conception of our country...to now)they wouldn't own a business in the first place due to dictators ruling their complete environment.
Beginning in May of this year '2017'... things are going to start to change ...for the better.
I am so sick and tired of the Liberals that truly do have a battle within themselves of not knowing the difference between what is right and what is right. They truly have no conscience & the mere thought that they 'think' they have the solution by disagreeing with 'Gun People'... WOW!!!
This is my game plan. I have the financial resources to 'Create, Monitor & Pay for a 'Once-a Week' 'FULL-PAGE AD' in all of the 'TOP-FIVE' NEWSPAPERS IN 'EVERY STATE' and the 'TOP-FIVE'-MONTHLY-READ-MAGAZINES' throughout the entire UNITED STATES. It will be on the basis of something in the order of... 'CUSTOMERS BEWARE' THIS IS A FORMAL LIST & THESE ARE THE ESTABLISHMENTS THAT DO-NOT-ALLOW- 'ANY TYPE OF FIREARM' IN THEIR PLACE OF BUSINESS. THEY HAVE NO-WAY-OF PROTECTING YOU IF A 'BAD-PERSON WITH A GUN' ATTEMPTS TO BRING YOU HARM WHILE YOU ARE ON THEIR PREMISES & PAYING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THEM, FOR WHAT?
THEY HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT A GOOD PERSON WITH A GUN... CANNOT STOP A 'BAD-PERSON' WITH A GUN.
(Now THIS INCLUDES ALL FORMS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT TOO.)

WE HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR VISIT AT THESE FINE ESTABLISHMENTS.
SO ENTER- 'AND ENJOY' AT-YOUR-OWN-RISK.
They have already stood their ground by publicly announcing that they 'Do Not Want or Allow' any Firearms into their place of business right? How many criminals do you think have read the statement put out by these business's such as the nationally recognized restaurant called
The Panera Bread Company (for one).
An idea pops into the criminals head on the basis of
Hey Y'all...Since De Dumb-Ass's all aint got no guns no-how
less go git's Leroy an Willy an Calhoun, an Amos an Andy, an den we kin go rob dem peoples. I'se gonna makes de call rat now,'Nawm-Sayin' I'se eben call my Ho' Nilla'Tishanta so dat de bitch kin do de driven. hell, she be de only one wid driver-lice anyhow, so yahhh, iss-on Y'all, Nawm-Sayin?
Aftah hittin 'bout 'Fo-Five 'O Deeze, de Po-Leese aint gone nose whut be hap-nin an das a 'Sho-Nuff...Nawm-Sayin Y'all?

I am very serious about this folks.
If the establishments come to their senses (probably after being robbed, or a murder...gang-rape, etc.)then we will change the advertisements directives. But for now, they want to play games and think they have the upper hand... watch and see how hard it hits their back pocket on an annual basis. In closing, even non-gun people wont feel comfortable going to eat their lunch or dinner out with their family, or a birthday event, corporate held meetings, etc... know that the criminals all know who does...and who does not care enough about their customers to have the gall to advertise that they have no way of protecting you after you come in, sit down, place an order, start to enjoy it.. but you have no way to pay for it because you have just all been robbed...in their place of business.

Very interesting. Please let us know the results of your efforts. It might be hard to get published with a list of actual businesses, how would you deal with that?
