Here's their concern: blacks and browns killed by cops don't get any memorials, so cops being valued higher than them is wrong.

But the entire premise is... *surprise*... wrong, both factually and logically. Factually, cops are killed by people we shall call "bad guys". Some bad guys are white, some are black and some are brown. Fallen cops are those murdered while on the job.

Logically, the Left has no concern for blacks who daily kill each other, or browns who kill each other - not to mention any whites these classes also kill, so it is irrational to single out cops, especially those who are actually trying to reduce the internecine killing, and wind up killed by those people who need to be controlled. If you don't care about blacks dying of gunshot or stabbings, then you don't actually care about blacks dying, period.

As for memorials, the iconic blacks killed while attacking cops frequently get memorials lasting even decades.

The hatred of cops stems from the hatred of law and self-control in a civil society, period. They want no restrictions on themselves, which is why they want to control a completely socialized society: that would allow them total freedom from all restraint. These folks are scofflaws and are potential criminals, themselves. It wouldn't be surprising to find that many of them actually are criminals.

Protesters in Atlanta Vandalize ‘Peace Monument’ After Mistaking It for Confederate Symbol

Protesters vandalized and attempted to take down the Peace Monument in Piedmont Park in Atlanta on Sunday, mistaking it for a pro-Confederate statue.

The protesters were marching in response to the violent protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Saturday where one woman died after being deliberately hit by a car, and two law enforcement personnel were killed when the helicopter they were in crashed.

“The Atlanta march traveled from Woodruff Park to Piedmont Park Sunday, where some damaged the Peace Monument, erected in 1911,” a blog on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution website said. “The sculpture features an angel standing above a Confederate soldier, guiding him to lay down his weapon.”

"Bolshevik Ethnic Cleansing"?

One of the terms I heard in watching a few of the many, many videos of the Charlottesville confrontation was "Bolshevik ethnic cleansing". In terms of today's Marxist identity warfare, the hated Other is both ideologically and racially, as well as somewhat gender oriented. Within these arenas, Class War has been declared and Leftist violence legitimized.

Professors have started publishing papers regarding the elimination of toxic masculinity. Some universities have courses on eradicating whiteness. There are many white Leftists who now advocate the eradication of whites from political positions, primarily in Democrat politics where the purge is obvious.

The Charlottesville melee resulted in hordes of politicians and business leaders excoriating Trump, who pointed out that the violence was from both sides. While this is partially a continuation of the hysterical war on Trump, it is also a validation of the "moral violence" promoted by the Left.

"Moral violence" is probably the most virulent type in that it is fully justified by an ideology, and required even necessary in order to save the ideology from the hated Other.

The hated Other Class - the designated Oppressors - are now defined as those outside the Messiah/Victimhood Classes: Whites. Whites who stand against this are defined as "White Supremacists", in order to attribute racism and aggression to the class. (Last year whites were the Deplorables).

It is a short step in most countries from the isolation of the Oppressor Class, to the eradication of the Oppressor Class.

Under Obama this attack was covert, disguised as "equalization" of neighborhood demographics and IRS weaponization against the Other, amongst other programs such as not prosecuting the black panthers, arousing racial frenzy in city issues, forcing campus rape accusations to have the weight of conviction, and many other less obvious programs.

Since the Left lost to Trump, the Soros-funded false-fronts have given free rein to the violence, inluding BLM and Antifa and through the organization called By Any Means Necessary. Now the political and business structure has endorsed the violence of the Black Shirts.

Toward what end? Is it not ethnic cleansing to endorse violence against those who are political "enemies"? Violence endorsed by the "moral" elites? Violence directed specifically at silencing any and all opposition?

Of course it is. Even the ACLU acknowledges that.

Leftist political ethnic violence is now fully endorsed; we'll see where it heads, and what resistance it meets.

The American Left has always been violent. From slavery to the Civil War including the killing of Lincoln; to Segregation, the KKK and Jim Crow; to the establishment of Leftist ghetto plantations; and now the Marxist identity war from which no one escapes, and which Antifa brings to the streets.

The Left is irrational, as in insane. And viciously violently insane.

Politics, Morality, and the Left

Leftists will be the first to argue that there is no objective morality. (Their Atheism is thus axiomatic) If there were such an objective and obvious set of behavioral principles, it would mean that the Left would not be the arbiter, and their behaviors would be somewhere between amoral and objectively evil. The Left cannot be wrong - such is the lot of the narcissistic - and thus there can be no objective morality. The Leftist construct of Morality, then is binary: strict yet evanescent rules apply to the herd (all of the non-Left), rules which are discerned by the Left and applied joyfully by the Left to the Other. The Other must be controlled now in preparation for elimination as Deplorables later. Utopia cannot handle Deplorables.

No rules apply to the Moralizing Left. This is easily understood by both observation and deducing what could possibly be the source of moral authority for a class superior to all other classes: only themselves would be considered to have such capability. And besides, it is a precursor to and feature of the wonderful utopia they will create.

So the Left has determined that they, and they alone, have the capacity to declare actions to be moral or immoral, and those actions would necessarily not be their own. They are tautologically moral by both their self-classification as superiors, and by their ability (and necessity) for defining their own morality separately from the morality which they define for the Othered Class. When one defines his own morality, he becomes a moral paragon because he cannot violate a code which he can change instantaneously (Think Muhammad, and the instantaneous increase in his allowable number of wives whenever he viewed a comely woman, married or not). Consequentialism is defined by the ability to define any conceivable objective as moral, which automatically confers morality upon all conceivable means and paths to obtaining that objective.

The Left comes historically from the specific Class which broke apart the Union of the United States in order to defend SLAVERY, resulting in the slaughter of half a million of America's young men in the pursuit of the objective of suppression of black slaves.

The Left comes historically from the Class which racially discriminated against free blacks by using Jim Crow laws and unequal segregation, dogs and fire hoses, along with terrorism via the Ku Kux Klan (hooded and masked arsonists and violent thugs). All in pursuit of their objective of maintaining their racial dominance over blacks.

The Left comes historically from the specific Class which for 100 years opposed all civil rights legislation designed to equalize opportunities for minorities, maintaining their position of white superiority.

The Left comes historically from the Class which created the Democrat Plantation Theory of suppression of blacks via ghetto support using welfare to suppress incentive and destroy families as well as to marginalize black males. All in the pursuit of maintaining white superiority.

It is no wonder then that the Left attacks actual history, because truthful history clearly condemns the actions of the Left, when any standards at all are applied to Leftist history since the beginning of the USA. So in conjunction with redefining terminology to cover for their own evil actions, the Left wishes to eradicate their history by eliminating names on halls, statues reminding us of their history, historical flags such as Confederate, and any other indicators of their own history.

Blame is deflected to the Othered Class, which contains the elements which in reality fought to eradicate slavery, to eradicate racial discrimination, to reduce the impact of the Democrat Plantation for suppression of blacks, to suppress KKK violence and membership, to stop the eugenic, genocidal killing of preborn humans, a practice focused on blacks. This class is now called "racist", "sexist", "homophobic", in the inverted, overheated minds of young Leftists. It is projected as Truth in a universe which contains no Truth.

And yet, they pursue the same policies as they ever have: When they shout "racist", they are blatantly exercising racism as they always have. When they cover their heads, faces and identities and attack the Other, they exercise the same violent terrorism as they always have. When they declare their own superiority and moral authority to condemn anyone who is not them, they foment class war as they always have. Their path is as objectively evil as it always has been.

The Left is materially the same as it always has been: self-declared superior, with moral authority to create the morals for the Other, and the moral authority for themselves to force their secondary morals onto the Other using violence and hatred in whatever quantities they deem necessary and sufficient. The Left is characterized by their hate, their self-elevation to moral authority, and their violence. Violence upon language, upon civil systems such as government bureaucracies, university and education complexes, voting processes, upon speakers for the Othered, upon entire classes of people, from blacks and unborn, to whites, Asians, males, and any perceived non-Leftist, which now are defined as attackable "fascists", completely subverting the meaning of fascism.

For these reasons the Left is the Class War insurgency against all civilized societies. They have for themselves only the morality of the invading barbarian horde and an internal culture of matching barbarism in anti-intellectual concepts and inverted definitions for use in hate speech. When that is coupled with determined anti-rationalism, the resulting Marxist, Leninist, Nietzschean, Comtean, Frankfortian, Cloward/Piven revolutionary fervor is fully expected.

With enough momentum, the Leftist revolution will proceed as is necessary for ultimate hegemonic seizure of humanity. It has succeeded in genocidic siezures before. Stopping that momentum is... problematic.

Dershowitz, On Political Witch Hunts

Alan Dershowitz: History, precedent and James Comey's opening statement show that Trump did not obstruct justice

The president can, as a matter of constitutional law, direct the attorney general, and his subordinate, the director of the FBI, tell them what to do, whom to prosecute and whom not to prosecute. Indeed, the president has the constitutional authority to stop the investigation of any person by simply pardoning that person.

Assume, for argument's sake, that Trump had said the following to Comey: "You are no longer authorized to investigate Flynn because I have decided to pardon him." Would that exercise of the president's constitutional power to pardon constitute a criminal obstruction of justice? Of course not. Presidents do that all the time.

Bush pardoned Caspar Weinberger, his secretary of defense, in the middle of an investigation that could have incriminated Bush. That was not an obstruction and neither would a pardon of Flynn have been a crime. A president cannot be charged with a crime for properly exercising his constitutional authority

For the same reason, Trump cannot be charged with obstruction for firing Comey, which he had the constitutional authority to do.

The Comey statement suggests that one reason Trump fired him was because of his refusal or failure to publicly announce that the FBI was not investigating Trump personally. Trump "repeatedly" told Comey to "get that fact out," and he did not.

If that is true, it is certainly not an obstruction of justice.

Nor is it an obstruction of justice to ask for loyalty from the director of the FBI, who responded "you will get that [‘honest loyalty'] from me."

Dershowitz Questions Purpose of Special Counsel — ‘What Is the Crime?’

Thursday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz called into question the purpose of the Department of Justice naming Robert Mueller as a special counsel to investigate Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election.

Dershowitz argued Mueller’s appointment would benefit Trump given that “collaborating with the Russians” to get elected wasn’t illegal and Mueller’s role would be to investigate illegalities.

“[I] think he will be the beneficiary of the special prosecutor,” Dershowitz said. “A special prosecutor is supposed to investigate a crime and most of the things that have been leveled at the Trump administration are not criminal acts. Collaborating with the Russians to get yourself elected — not a criminal act. Terrible, morally wrong, but not criminal. The same thing is true with the leaking of the information to the Russians.”

Host Anderson Cooper and Dershowitz’s fellow panelists Jeffrey Toobin and Carl Bernstein argued the investigation should proceed, but Dershowitz insisted there wasn’t a criminal statute about what Trump and his campaign have been accused.

“Let’s assume that that’s true — show me the criminal statute,” he said. “I still sit here as a civil libertarian. I don’t want us ever to become what Stalinist Russia became when Stalin was told by Lavrentiy Beria, ‘Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime.’ What is the crime?”

Cooper said the question wasn’t whether or not it was illegal collusion or just collusion but if it occurred, to which Dershowitz said that wasn’t something over which Mueller would have jurisdiction.

“[T]hat is a political issue, but that doesn’t give Mueller jurisdiction,” he added. “Mueller has no jurisdiction to explore whether he made political mistakes, did terrible things, engaged in wrongdoing. Only criminal acts.”

This will definitely work in Trump's favor: Only the Stupid Donks will come out of this badly. The Donks are not just the opposition - they are evil to the core, and that includes the RINOs. They are attempting a coup which they hatched immediately after Trump was lawfully elected. They have neither reason nor reasoning and certainly no evidence. All they have is their hatred. By their insane hatred they will be known.

No longer even attempting to argue rationally, they have moved into the violence of absurd rhetoric designed to infuriate the weak minded. That part has succeeded. But how many weak minded, irrational utopians can a western society produce at one time?

Their call to violence now is "the Summer of Resistance", which will garner a few more Antifa kids, and a few to acquire guns they can't handle safely. Summer is nearly here. Stay away from crowds.

Rejecting Leftist Assignment of Identity

This expresses it very well. We are all assigned the identities by the Left. Leftists are Victim Class and Messiah Class (or both). The rest of humanity is othered into the Oppressor Class, aka the Guilty Class, The Deplorable Class. This is the class which is guilty. Guilty of all sins of all times against all Victimhood/Messiahs, whether real or imagined (mostly imagined and fabricated). The guilty are not allowed any feelings, any history, any argument in their defense; they have been convicted, deemed GUILTY, and sentenced to as much abuse as the Left can get away with.

No Guilt This Time

Males will be shunned as if lepers. Cis-anythings will be removed from possibly contaminating the Non-cis-everythings. All living things will exist in a spectrum of non-cis-ism, except for the Despicable Class, which is addressed in terms of eliminationism.

By not accepting guilt, Trump proves consistently that the Marxist, Leftist, Democrat three class system is false. Make that FALSE. Certainly Trump is "Othered". And hated. And feared. But Trump is not saddled with guilt, and he is not subject to the guilt attacks directed at him. For this the Leftist rage cannot touch him, or stop him, or control him psychologically as they do the RINOs. That means that their most radical, most hateful, loudest accusations are useless. Their only real weapon is neutralized, no matter how many times they pull the trigger: sexism; racism; white; male; cis. All that bounces off Trump, and frequently results in a Tweeted slap-down rather than any cowering in fear of their expletives.

Right now, there is, across the media spectrum, analysis, commentary, a number of outlets sort of half-heartedly attempting to take the “100 days” benchmark semi-seriously. As in, “Trump promised these 30 things in the first 100 days. How did he do?” and the like, as though he were an actual, functioning politician with actual, functioning ideas designed to improve the well-being of the nation.

He has nothing of the sort. He is just an ogre, the hell-mouth incarnate, a shockingly incompetent, weak-kneed, kindness-abhorring con man incapable of a single complex thought, a charlatan merely using the most powerful office in the land to rape the U.S. Treasury and launder mountains of cash through his own businesses. But wait, our president does “tell more untruths than any president in American history,” says Texas A&M political scientist George Edwards, editor of the scholarly journal Presidential Studies Quarterly. Does that count as an accomplishment?"

Many spiritually advanced people I know (not coweringly religious, mind you, but deeply spiritual) identify Obama as a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who has the ability to lead us not merely to new foreign policies or health care plans or whatnot, but who can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet, of relating and connecting and engaging with this bizarre earthly experiment. These kinds of people actually help us evolve. They are philosophers and peacemakers of a very high order, and they speak not just to reason or emotion, but to the soul.

The unusual thing is, true Lightworkers almost never appear on such a brutal, spiritually demeaning stage as national politics. This is why Obama is so rare. And this why he is so often compared to Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., to those leaders in our culture whose stirring vibrations still resonate throughout our short history.

Are you rolling your eyes and scoffing? Fine by me. But you gotta wonder, why has, say, the JFK legacy lasted so long, is so vital to our national identity? Yes, the assassination canonized his legend. The Kennedy family is our version of royalty. But there's something more. Those attuned to energies beyond the literal meanings of things, these people say JFK wasn't assassinated for any typical reason you can name. It's because he was just this kind of high-vibration being, a peacemaker, at odds with the war machine, the CIA, the dark side. And it killed him.

Now, Obama. The next step. Another try. And perhaps, as Bush laid waste to the land and embarrassed the country and pummeled our national spirit into disenchanted pulp and yet ironically, in so doing has helped set the stage for an even larger and more fascinating evolutionary burp, we are finally truly ready for another Lightworker to step up.

Let me be completely clear: I'm not arguing some sort of utopian revolution, a big global group hug with Obama as some sort of happy hippie camp counselor. I'm not saying the man's going to swoop in like a superhero messiah and stop all wars and make the flowers grow and birds sing and solve world hunger and bring puppies to schoolchildren.

Please. I'm also certainly not saying he's perfect, that his presidency will be free of compromise, or slimy insiders, or great heaps of politics-as-usual. While Obama's certainly an entire universe away from George W. Bush in terms of quality, integrity, intelligence and overall inspirational energy, well, so is your dog. Hell, it isn't hard to stand far above and beyond the worst president in American history.

But there simply is no denying that extra kick. As one reader put it to me, in a way, it's not even about Obama, per se. There's a vast amount of positive energy swirling about that's been held back by the armies of BushCo darkness, and this energy has now found a conduit, a lightning rod, is now effortlessly self-organizing around Obama's candidacy. People and emotions and ideas of high and positive vibration are automatically drawn to him. It's exactly like how Bush was a magnet for the low vibrational energies of fear and war and oppression and aggression, but, you know, completely reversed. And different. And far, far better.

Don't buy any of it? Think that's all a bunch of tofu-sucking New Agey bulls-- and Obama is really a dangerously elitist political salesman whose inexperience will lead us further into darkness because, when you're talking national politics, nothing, really, ever changes? I understand. I get it. I often believe it myself.

Not this time.

Maybe the media is not just dishonest; maybe it is completely insane.

In the column, Stephens never states that he believes climate change is a farce. He simply asserts that people should look at claims from both supporters and deniers, in the attempt to get all the facts.
The freakout of the Times‘ core readers is reminiscent of the famous moment when the late Julian Simon debated an earlier iteration of hard left religious zealots:

Simon, the economist who was legendarily skeptical about environmental doom, once posed a question at an environmental forum: “How many people here believe that the earth is increasingly polluted and that our natural resources are being exhausted?” Almost every hand shot up. He then said, “Is there any evidence that could dissuade you?” There was no response, so he asked again, “Is there any evidence I could give you—anything at all—that would lead you to reconsider these assumptions?” Again, no response. Simon concluded, “Well, excuse me. I’m not dressed for church.”

The Left has fully mobilized as the MESSIAH Class, and has "legitimized" any sort of violence and eliminationism as the MORAL response to the Oppressors who would harm their FAUX VICTIMHOOD Class. They are now the equivalent of the Christian CRUSADERS, who mobilized and weaponized in order to save Christians from Islamic slavery of the Moor invasions.

The difference is that the class structure the Left believes in is purely imaginary, an artifact not of empirical fact, but of ideological machinations in their fevered minds. Nonetheless, the resulting self-righteousness is finally being openly implemented in violence.

This is a binary situation: either the Left changes its ideology into one of actual, real tolerance and acceptance of the Other, or their increasing violence must be met. It is binary because the mindset of the Left is exactly binary. They have defined Good and Evil in their own religious terms; and the self-righteous Leftist Sharia cannot tolerate tolerance of the non-Left. Evil must be eradicated under Leftist Sharia. Evil means all non-Leftist thought.

Only Hive-Think is allowed by the Left, and they constantly signal their Hive-Righteousness to avoid being eliminated themselves. The most infamous example of this was the time that the Amazing Randi suggested that there might be some validity to climate-panic skepticism. The reaction was immediate and severe; Randi lost all his creds as a Leftist, and the attacks on him were cold, hard and devastating. Randi immediately repented openly, and publicly self-lacerated in order to be allowed back into the cloister. It was an "Amazing" yet predictable sight.
