Trump agrees to first-ever meeting with North Korea's Kim Jong Un

President Trump will meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un by May for high-level talks toward a nuclear-free Korean peninsula, a South Korean official said outside the White House on Thursday.

It would be the first face-to-face meeting in history between a U.S. president and a North Korean leader.

The opening came through shuttle diplomacy by a South Korean delegation that arrived in Washington on Thursday. Trump heralded the development as a “major announcement” after speaking with the South Korean president.

"I told President Trump that in our meeting, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said he's committed to denuclearization. He pledged that North Korea will refrain from any further nuclear or missile tests," South Korean national security adviser Chung Eui-yong told reporters after meeting with Trump at the White House.

Significantly, there was no insistence that the United States and South Korea suspend joint military exercises.

Prediction: the MSM will not be happy with this.

How Things Are Going For Trump

From my perspective, very well.

1. The Fort Sumter moment is in sight; the rebels have declared sanctuary cities as the trigger. If Trump takes them up and arrests, say, Jerry Brown, then the war becomes an honest artifact of current American History.

2. The Democrats are afflicted with the huge treason/blackmail scandal involving dozens of Democrat Representatives, all of whom enabled the foreign access of their data and emails by the Awan clan (Iraqis). Debbie Wasserman Schultz apparently is "in the wind" since the arrest of Awan as he tried to leave the country. If Awan is blackmailing Congressmen or delivering government secrets or even DNC secrets to foreign powers, he and Debbie are in trouble.

The phony Trump-Russia collusion nothing-burger will evaporate soon.

3. Hillary cannot survive an honest inquiry. This alone will illustrate for the world to see whether the FBI is fully Clintonian, or it is fundamentally American. If she doesn't pay with jail time, then the FBI is corrupted irreparably.

4. Whispers of an upper level, Deep State coup to remove Trump show the desperation of the Left. If Trump continues to dismantle the Deep State (a move called "chaos" by the MSM) the Left will lose all inhibition and possibly try the violence which they advocate daily against Trump. Trump has found a military ally, and made him in charge of "all staff", while releasing questionable individuals back into the swamp.

5. Trump has taken the first step to control Congress by threatening to remove their own insurance (cushy) if they don't fix healthcare. my own preference would be to take the next step: sign no other bills into law until healthcare is fixed AND keep Congress in session continuously until he gets the legislation he needs (for the wall, and illegal immigration, as examples). He has the ability to shut down Congress by the action of not signing any bill whatsoever, including porkers.

6. The conflict with the NORKs and Russia will either make or break his march to greatness.

My assessment is that things are going well, with plenty of opportunity to deal with the corruptocrats and the psychos with nukes. He can win this. The reports of his demise are premature.

A further thought. We, as in the US govt, are committed to the “Assad gassed a bunch of children” narrative from this point forward. We have now crossed the Rubicon of killing people in the name of this narrative. No matter what evidence becomes available in the coming days, it will be ignored, suppressed, and denied. Alternatively, the spying on Trump was real and wholly political, and the Russians-under-my-bed thing was a cover story hatched after Hillary unexpectedly lost, when it became apparent that Trump, and America, would find out sooner or later what had been done.

This escalation represents a real threat to Obama. Suddenly everything is out of control. Nobody would have minded much if Trump had gone after one of Obama’s henchmen — which is probably what was expected — but none can foresee how an exchange of blades between principals will end. It is safe to say however that unless the combatants disengage someone will get hurt. It will be a terrible moment for American political civility when a king lies on the political floor. The whole point of a peaceful transition of power is to prevent a clash between kings. Yet the very tragedy the electoral process is intended to prevent is happening before our eyes.

In such a fight anything can happen.

One of the ways American political culture prevents such a fight is to have only one king at a time. Former presidents are expected to retire and vanish. Obama, however, decided to stay in DC and try to destroy Trump’s presidency. That was a choice that showed little concern for America, but then, the lack of such concern has been a hallmark of Obama’s career.

And who was foolish enough to think that Trump would respond to attacks by playing small ball?

The concept of the complete retirement of presidents is based on presidents who had principles which include the laws and welfare of the AMERICAN NATION. Obama believes in the welfare of the Leftist autocracy and the uber-rich globalists. He also believes that he has an army in the BLM and antifas, supported by the media and the deep state.

Trump is the Destructor who has proven himself in battle time and again when the Left declared him dead at every turn.

If Obama loses his status as king of the world's Leftist armies, it is possible that an unfocused war of civil destruction will break out as the ruffians go berserk.

There's a frustrating game that the left plays with conservatives. It's an Alinksy tactic called, "Make them live up to their values." Now, living up to one's values isn't a bad thing, but setting high standards ultimately means that you'll sometimes fall short.

The left loves to exploit these shortcomings--every Christian who falls short of perfection is a hypocrite; the social values candidate you voted for just got arrested for drunk driving. Haha, everything you believe and advocate is now discredited.

They got away with it for years, waving away the lies, hypocrisy, indiscretions, and criminal behavior from their own politicians while beating the right mercilessly with the missteps of their own. It's effective because the right always maintains a baseline of integrity not displayed by the left, as evidenced by comparing what happens to Republican politicians when they're caught in criminal behavior with what happens to Democrats. Republican voters and politicians reluctantly dump the malefactor while Democrats defend their guy and launch an offensive against those who demand accountability.

And then came along Trump, a guy just ripe for demonization by the left. I think it's fair to say that even his early supporters worried that the Democrats would successfully make him toxic to the general voting public with his boorish behavior, vulgarity, multiple bankruptcies and very public divorces.

But something strange happened. Not only did Donald Trump not care about attacks on his character, neither did anyone else. We saw this new paradigm assert itself over and over during the primary throughout repeated media predictions that this time he's gone to far and he's cooked.

This same indifference that helped Trump carry the election has continued into the early days of his administration. With it comes a refreshingly freeing state of mind. Personally, I don't feel in any way responsible for Trump, nor do I feel compelled to defend him against attack.

Why? Because I voted for retribution.

Actually, I voted for total reversal and delegitimization of Leftist tyrants. Close to the same thing.

Here's what happens when the politicians DON'T RUN THINGS ANYMORE:

There is clearly a ruthless strategist behind the God-Emperor's executive blitzkrieg of the last three days, and I strongly suspect it is someone who is familiar with the work of both Col. John Boyd and Mike Cernovich. The unprecedented speed with which the executive orders is not merely intentional, it is strategic.

What I believe we're seeing is the marriage of two tactics: the Observe, Orient, Decide, and Act (OODA) Loop and Cernovich's media cycle disruption described in MAGA Mindset, being combined into a strategic approach designed to render the media's mass firepower irrelevant.

Notice how the media was still trying to figure out how to best go about attacking the rather unspecific undermining of Obamacare when Trump dropped the more highly targeted EPA freeze and pipeline orders on them. They had barely begun to even report on those acts when news of the immigration-related orders was then leaked. The God-Emperor is using executive momentum and his ability to make rapid decisions to disrupt and neutralize the mainstream media's vast, but cumbersome communications apparatus. Much like the Germans created maneuver warfare to avoid the formidable artillery barrages of the Allies and break through the trenches in WWI, Trump is using high-speed maneuver politics to smash the three-day media cycle, thereby preventing his opponents from targeting any individual action.

I'll discuss this in more detail in tonight's Darkstream. But it really is a brilliant strategy, and it bodes extremely well for the more radical and populist aspects of the Trump coalition. If my read on this is correct, his executive orders are going to become increasingly radical, and increasingly specific, as the media, the Democrats, and the conservative-corporate opposition increasingly reel back in disarray.

This is, almost certainly, a new generation of political strategy, and one that appears to have the potential to render the Left's cultural high ground almost completely impotent.

Trump has apparently signed Executive Orders opening the process of Canadian pipelines, stopping unlimited illegal immigration, and building THE WALL. Plus he killed TPP. Stock market is shooting upward. Companies are promising USA factories. Unions are smiling. And he stopped funding foreign abortion funding.

Remember how the other candidates ran around sucking up to the billionaires? They would be seeking billionaire and power monger advice, rather than doing what they promised the deplorable herd. Compare that with the Donald. And less than a week into his presidency.

The elites promised that the Donald would fail at every step. The elites are kaput, with both political parties in ashes and the MSM trembling and squealing like spanked children.

The entire Left is demonstrating against all this good news. But they've already lost, at least legally. I like that metaphor; they're all squealing like spanked children. Having a tantrum while sitting facing a corner.

Lawlessness has lost, for now.

And Trump’s army of “deplorables” — as many supporters began calling themselves following Hillary Clinton’s criticism — held a “DeploraBall” that was interrupted by protesters shouting anti-Nazi chants.

Protesters fanned across the city in recent days, including outside the home of Vice President Mike Pence to spotlight his opposition to same-sex marriage.

A concert Thursday at the Lincoln Memorial drew thousands of supporters, but instead of a star-studded lineup, it included recorded hits from the Rolling Stones between acts, reminiscent of the campaign trail, with a Trump favorite: “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”
