Obamas arrive for final Christmas vacation in the islands as first family

It's always Christmas for the Obamas, and there's plenty time left for two or three more vacations - they've perfected the perpetual vacation concept. I'd not be surprised if they wore the entire fleet of AF-Ones completely out in the next month.

On a related note, I'd also not be surprised if they stripped it and stole the White House blind, just like the Clinton's did when they left it. But that's not news... yet. And don't think me cynical: it's historic. It's happened before with this class of Democrat thieves.

Keeping to the narrative is far more important than any commitment to anyone, including your countrymen and their safety. If the narrative demands 10,000, then all tactics to achieve that must be used (Alinsky: the only bad tactic is the one unused). The entire Obama administration is treasonous.

The Obama administration isn’t vetting the social media profiles of all Syrian refugees despite promises made last year after the San Bernardino terrorist attack, which exposed holes in the U.S. immigration screening process.

Concerns over refugee screening spurred Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback, a Republican, on Tuesday to cancel his state’s cooperation with federal authorities trying to resettle Syrians.

It was another blow to the administration’s attempts to reach President Obama’s goal of accepting 10,000 Syrians this fiscal year.

With a little more than five months left in the fiscal year, the government is 8,370 refugees short of its goal. Lawmakers on Capitol Hill say they fear the administration will reduce screening even more to speed up the process. To meet the president’s target, immigration officials would have to approve about 75 applications every workday for the rest of the fiscal year — nearly seven times the average so far.

"What is far more important than the arbitrary number of 10,000 is whether these refugees can be properly screened. If the answer is no, which is obviously the case given testimony by the FBI director and homeland security secretary, then we should not let a single one into the country," said Rep. Vern Buchanan, Florida Republican. (Associated Press)

Mr. Buchanan is sponsoring legislation that would force the Homeland Security Department to review social media accounts of anyone seeking entry to the U.S.

His bill has the backing of Rep. Devin Nunes, California Republican and chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and Rep. Michael T. McCaul, Texas Republican and chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.

President Obama is boxed in a state of paralysis—more so than typical lame-duck presidents.

His hard-left politics have insidiously eroded the Democratic Party, which has lost both houses of Congress and the vast majority of the state legislatures, state elected offices, and governorships. Obama has redefined the black vote, as a necessary, no-margin-of-error 95% bloc majority to offset his similar creation of an increasingly monolithic 65% bloc white vote. We are no longer individual voters, but, in Chicago-politics style, merely faceless “Latinos,” “Asians,” “African-Americans,” “gays,” “women,” and now “whites.”

Obama issues a new initiative—and the nation snoozes. He wastes the day on the golf links—and the nation snoozes. He smear his critics, invites a rapper to the White House whose latest album cover has a dead white judge lying in front of the White House—and the nation snoozes. He cozies up to America’s enemies and snubs our friends—and the nation snoozes. For the nth time, he blusters about closing down Guantanamo—and the nation snoozes. He opens the border even wider to welcome in more illegal aliens and future constituents—and the nation snoozes. Lame duckestry means not even being able to wake up your opponents.

Perhaps if he did something non-absurd he might gain a modicum of respect. But he pursues absurdities, as is the NEW war on cancer - a war already well underway and nearing the final win with engineered T-cells - instead of protecting the USA and the victims of the world generated by his own policies. He is directly responsible for the loss of a stabilized Iraq, the rise of ISIS, the re-arming of Iran, the chaos in Lybia, the aggression of the Chinese, and the continuing recession and increase of indigency and food stamps as necessities. His "initiatives" are feeble and defeated in US Courts. The more time on the links, the better off we all are.

There is so far no Obama legacy, except the creation of Donald Trump, a $20 trillion debt and zero interest rates—and the gift of flat energy prices that came despite not because of Obama’s efforts. Almost every major bureaucracy is awash in scandal or charges of incompetence. The common theme of the disasters at the GSA, EPA, ICE, IRS, NASA, Secret Service, and VA is ideological subversion and ingrained hostility to meritocracy. Would anyone be surprised that another government official pled the 5th, created fake email personas, resigned at 5 PM on a Friday afternoon, declared a foremost mission Muslim outreach, or withheld subpoenaed documents?

The latest CNN/ORC poll tells the story: By a margin of 57 to 40 percent, Americans disapprove of President Obama’s handling of foreign policy. With regard to handling the Islamic State, they disapprove by a remarkable 64 to 33 percent. The same lopsided margin (60 to 38 percent) disapproves of his handling of terrorism and thinks the war in Iraq and Syria is going badly. Sixty-eight percent think we have not been aggressive enough, only 4 percent think we have been too aggressive in our military response and a robust 53 percent favor sending ground troops. Finally, 61 percent of Americans think it is at least somewhat likely we will have a terrorist attack in the next few weeks.

Obama’s perfunctory and vapid speech last night is unlikely to improve matters. We therefore have a public prepared to face up to our threats and a commander in chief who is not. There is, in effect, a consensus of no confidence in the president.

And who can blame the public? Nearly everything Obama has said about our threats is wrong. To recount:

“The war in Afghanistan is winding down. Al Qaeda has been decimated.”

“The long war in Iraq will come to an end by the end of this year.” (2011)

“A decade of war is now ending.”

“The analogy we use around here sometimes [for the Islamic State], and I think is accurate, is if a J.V. team puts on Lakers uniforms, that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant.”

“In Iraq and Syria, American leadership, including our military power, is stopping (the Islamic State’s) advance.”

“It is entirely legitimate for the American people to be deeply concern when you have a bunch of violent, vicious zealots who behead people or randomly shot a bunch of folks in a Deli in Paris.”

“I don’t think [the Islamic State is] gaining strength. What is true, from the start our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them.”

“It is possible that [that San Bernardino, Calif., shooting] was terrorist-related, but we don’t know. It’s also possible that this was workplace-related.” (Dec. 3)

The president has consistently ignored and underplayed the strength of our enemies. He has continually insisted that whatever he is doing has worked or is working. He has mocked critics, falsely accusing them of having no alternative or wanting a massive ground war. He has slashed our military and agreed to restrict the National Security Agency metadata program that his own advisers say was working.

And so now, when the enemy has spread to multiple countries, struck the West repeatedly and recruited tens of thousands of fighters, Obama asks us to have confidence in his approach. Why in the world would we?"

It's not just the failure of the Blue Model, it is a failure of intellect. When the narrative is more important than life itself, discernment no longer exists.

“I don’t want you to think that a display of your strength is simply shutting other people up, and that part of your ability to bring about change is going to be by engagement and understanding the viewpoints and the arguments of the other side,” Obama said.

This is the second time Obama has publicly defended free speech on college campuses. At a town hall event on Sept. 14, the president told an audience that speakers should be allowed to give speeches on college campuses, even if students don’t like what they’ll say.

“I’ve heard of some college campuses where they don’t want to have a guest speaker who is too conservative or they don’t want to read a book if it has language that is offensive to African-Americans or somehow sends a demeaning signal toward women,” Obama said. “I’ve got to tell you, I don’t agree with that, either. I don’t agree that you, when you become students at colleges, have to be coddled and protected from different points of view.”

Obama made similar comments to Stephanopoulos, but left out the part about students needing to be coddled. He suggested students argue with those they disagree with rather than try to keep them from speaking. . . .

“You don’t have to be fearful of somebody spouting bad ideas,” Obama said. “Just out-argue them. Beat them. Make the case as to why they’re wrong.”

Obama said he was “worried” that young people were becoming “trained” to think that if they disagree with someone, that if their feelings get hurt, their “only recourse is to shut them up.”"

Good for him, and totally unexpected.

"The picture being painted by Obama’s soon-to-be-former advisors is one of a president paralyzed with indecision. He is being increasingly tested by the world’s bad actors and revisionist powers and has little resolve to act early and decisively. That is an impression that was confirmed by Reuters in October. They reported that the president was similarly incapacitated by the People’s Republic of China’s brazen decision to create new islands that would function as naval and air bases in the middle of the contested Spratly Islands late last year.

As early as May, well before those island bases were completed, Defense Secretary Ashton Carter requested the Pentagon draw up options to respond to this challenge to American global maritime dominance. According to the Pentagon officials who spoke with Reuters anonymously, Obama invited an “intense, prolonged” and “unnecessary” internal debate over how to respond to this provocation, and only reluctantly agreed in October to dispatch one destroyer to sail within 12 nautical miles of one of Beijing’s new island bases.

“The Pentagon and U.S. military officials had been ready for months to carry out patrols, but ran into ‘repeated stalling’ from the White House and State Department, said one U.S. defense official, who requested anonymity,” Reuters reported.

As the fruits of Barack Obama’s feckless approach to foreign affairs ripen, and the conflicts that he sought to resolve only deteriorate, the president’s advisors are increasingly training their fire on him. In the final year of this administration, that trend is only likely to intensify. If the Obama era is going to be remembered as the period when the seeds of chaos and conflict were sown, surely more creatures of Washington are going to emerge to make sure that they do not take the blame for sowing them. A president who has so perfected the art of throwing others under the bus is about to get the same treatment."

In 2008, the entire world - except for conservatives - knew that Obama could stop the seas from rising and cease all war and hatred in the world merely by speaking the mellifluous words to do so. Women fainted and fantasized sexually about the One. Crowds of uncountable believers thronged to be briefly in his presence, even at a distance. Obama was more than a man, more than a president: he could make people believe that "Hope and Change" had actual meaning. More than human, he was a phenomenon.

The economy is geared for the 1%, and the social policies include boys showering with the girls in public schools. The scandals, including death and treason, are almost daily. And still many follow the Left, and will vote for Hillary.

Child-Rape Prevention is Not Allowed in Obama's Military

There should be exactly no confusion about Obama's passion for stopping the killing of children in the designated "kill zones" now set up to remove any potential defense from gunmen. Or is there? Obama cares exactly nothing for the tens of millions of murdered babies in utero and with financial assistance from the US taxpayer. And he cares exactly nothing abut stopping child-rape, and in fact is sanctioning punishment for those who have stopped at least this one instance of it.

A hero by both record and reputation, Sergeant First Class Martland is about to lose his career over something that any parent or decent American would have done: intervene in the violent rape of an innocent boy. When Martland confronted the attacker (a member of the Afghan police), the rapist laughed off the soldier's horror, insisting it was "just a boy."

Now, several weeks into the controversy, everyone from veterans groups to conservative congressmen are protesting the discharge -- insisting that Martland doesn't deserve punishment, but promotion."

Some rape is not "rape-rape" as Whoopi put it; some rape is just culture, in her case, Hollywood culture. This child-rape is culturally Afghani police Islamic culture. So the rankings of the classes is now clear: Multiculturalism outranks rape, even child rape of boys tied to posts. Gun-free kill-zones outrank dead children. While there is a "Right to Privacy" for the New Right to kill one's progeny, there apparently is no Right To Privacy for any other human. Having already given away the privacy of government employees and agents (to the Chinese?) by mere incompetence, he now attacks the privacy of all other Americans.

Unbeknown to most Americans, Obama’s racial bean counters are furiously mining data on their health, home loans, credit cards, places of work, neighborhoods, even how their kids are disciplined in school — all to document “inequalities” between minorities and whites.

This Orwellian-style stockpile of statistics includes a vast and permanent network of discrimination databases, which Obama already is using to make “disparate impact” cases against: banks that don’t make enough prime loans to minorities; schools that suspend too many blacks; cities that don’t offer enough Section 8 and other low-income housing for minorities; and employers who turn down African-Americans for jobs due to criminal backgrounds."

The objective is obvious: Marxist equality of outcome. A recent example: The financial crisis of 2008 was caused in large part by the government decreed granting of mortgages to "disadvantaged" people who couldn't afford them, and who walked away from them when they couldn't or wouldn't make their payments. The defaults, as would be expected under "common sense" and standard lending practice, were huge. That huge loss was coupled into the financial marketeering of bundled mortgages which lost huge values as the "disadvantaged" defaulted. The loss was paid for by the government, to the financial sector, and paid for by the taxpayer, and probably by the consumer who incurred inflation due to money cranked out in the secrecy of the FED. The outcome was that the serfs paid the cronies for the stupidity of the government and its misguided, marxist overreach, while the "disadvantaged" still don't own homes, and their credit is worse than ever due to their default so they probably never will.

This is the standard and expected consequence of government-engineered "equality of outcome" a la Marxist principles.

Marxism always works. It works FOR the current tyrant and his cronies; it always works AGAINST the tyrant's serfs, who cannot control the tyrant. Assaults by Leftist activists are now guaranteed on institutions of all types, from banks to cities, to hospitals, to employers of all types, and ultimately to everyone who owns or lives in a house. The assaults will be based in the government's violation of the ninth and tenth Amendments to the US Constitution:

The ninth and tenth amendments were included to make absolutely sure there was no misunderstanding about the limited powers the Constitution grants to the federal government.

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

Amendment X:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Now, where's the right to privacy?

It is clearly in those two amendments.

The government has no power to tell people what to do except in areas specifically authorized in the Constitution. "

The government is clearly in the business of telling people what to do, outside their constitutional power to do so. When not stopped from overreaching there is no limit to their overreaches. That is the definition of tyranny. This information will definitely be used for Leftist legal assaults on all sorts of individuals and entities, unless it is stopped. And how can it be stopped? The options are fewer every day.

Obama Wars on Climate Change But Not ISIS

Obama recently declared war on climate change; he wants us to believe that warming is more dangerous than borders which are open to the religion of peace. It can't be demonstrated conclusively that climate change has killed anyone, while Islamists kill more and more every day in more brutal ways. But there is a radical difference between the two, and a radical similarity.

The difference is that climate change is an easy messianic opportunity to save the world and punish the west, while messing with Islam is not easy when Leftists accept Islamists as congruent in their mutual hatred of the west and especially Christianity. Every western world citizen will be punished for producing the enemy, Climate Change; no Islamist is to be considered an enemy until after he has killed a western world citizen, and even then Islam will be exonerated. Christianity and Christians are the enemy, never Islam and Islamists.

The similarity is that fighting climate change (wealth redistribution and world law), and not doing much about ISIS et. al. (anti-colonialism and anti-nationalism) both are steps toward world government, which is a Leftist utopian craving.
