Leftist Eating Other Leftist in Canada

Muslim bikini waxer won't wax males.
Transgender Woman Sues Waxing Spa After Muslim Employee Declined Service for Religious Reasons
So some bureauccrat will have to decide whether the Muslim or the fake woman will prevail.

I'm wondering if the newer the victimhood designation, the higher priority rule will take effect. That would rule in favor of the fake woman, forcing the muslim to wax "xer" male parts, or lose her job as waxer. Wonder what the "Religion of Peace" would think of that?

All UR Children Belong Us.

Ohio Christian Parents Lose Custody of 17-Year-Old Daughter for Refusing Her Transgender Drugs

In 2016, the unnamed girl was hospitalized and diagnosed with depression, anxiety disorder, and gender dysphoria, which the American Psychiatric Association defines as “a conflict between a person’s physical or assigned gender and the gender with which he/she/they identify.” Doctors claim that the parents' treating the girl as a girl has triggered suicidal feelings. Temporary custody has been granted to Hamilton County Job and Family Services, which has placed the girl with her maternal grandparents, who support the transgender identity.

The medical team from Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center testified that the girl is improving because her grandparents are treating her like a boy. They argued that she should immediately start treatment to decrease the risk of suicide, however.

"We think the grandparents are the ones who have an open mind and will ... make this sort of decision best for the child," Paul Hunt, an attorney for Hamilton County Job and Family Services, testified, according to court records obtained by CNN. "The parents have clearly indicated that they're not open to it," i.e. giving their daughter transgender hormones."
If parents make decisions which are non-congruent with state-driven decisions, why, merely take their children away and put them where the state's policies are implemented. Totalitarians who are in government positions of power must be removed.

What? They don't have... Well, then, What DO they have?

Women’s March ditching ‘pussyhats’ because they exclude trans women: Report

Women's March organizers are moving away from the iconic “pussyhat” because it may be offensive to trans women who don’t have female genitalia.
What about those full body-suit vagina outfits? Those were pretty cute. What will replace all that costumery?
Can't they just "identify" with/as a vagina even if they haven't got one?

Profiting From Kiddie-Trans

“TransKids” Site Sells Prosthetic Penises for “Trans” Little Girls to Wear
This obviously leaves little boys who 'need' a vagina out in the cold. But who cares - they're males and don't count. For photos and pricing on little girl penises, go to the site.

Wow. A Threefer

First Openly Transgender Black Woman Elected to Public Office in the U.S.
But will white feministas accept her...? Maybe not: No ovaries, no period, no lifetime of sexual oppression - not a real woman.

No Regrets... Allowed

Homosexuals can't be treated for regret, either.
A British University has blocked an academic studying a reported surge in people regretting transgender surgery, claiming a “social media” backlash to the “politically incorrect” research could harm the institution.

Bath Spa University stopped Psychotherapist James Caspian from examining cases of people who had surgery to reverse a “gender reassignment” after finding they regretted the decision.

Mr. Caspian, 58, a councilor of 16 years who has specialized in and worked with transgender issues for years, slammed the institution for failing to respect “the most basic tenets of academic and intellectual freedom of inquiry”.

“The fundamental reason given was that it might cause criticism of the research on social media and criticism of the research would be criticism of the University and they also added it was better not to offend people,” he told BBC Radio 4.

Adding: “I was astonished at that decision. I think a University exists to encourage discussion, research, dissent even, challenging ideas that are out of date or not particularly useful.”

He pointed out that studies of the percentage of people regretting “transitioning” their gender ranged from a couple of per cent to 20 per cent, and said new research was needed as attitudes changed and practitioners observed a rise in those reversing surgery.

The university initially approved his research, but after he proposed finding more participants online and sent his ideas to the ethics sub-committee for clearance, he was told: “engaging in a potentially politically incorrect piece of research carries a risk to the University”.

“Attacks on social media may not be confined to the researcher but may involve the university,” university authorities added, The Times reports. “The posting of unpleasant material on blogs or social media may be detrimental to the reputation of the university.”

Opponents of transgender ideology have claimed the transgender lobby is aggressive and even violent in its attempts to promote transgenderism and silence criticism, and some feminist campaigners have been physically attacked by trans activists.

“It’s ridiculous. I’m in my late fifties, I’m an expert in my field and I’m not even on social media. I’m not frightened at all. Asking questions is not a hate crime,” Mr. Caspian complained.

Continuing: “Where would stand the reputation of a university that cannot follow the most basic tenets of academic and intellectual freedom of inquiry?”

Bath Spa University said it was unable to comment while Mr. Caspian’s complaint was being investigated.

So-called “gender identity clinics” in the UK have seen a dramatic increase in the number of people claiming to be transgendered in recent years, with referrals shooting up by several hundred per cent at some.

In 2015, the National Health Service increased its budget for “treating” the transgendered to £22.72 million a year, up from £17.13 million.

The Proper Term is "Sheee-it!"

California Bill: 1 Year in Jail for Using Wrong Transgender Pronoun

A new bill being considered by the California State Senate would punish people who “willfully and repeatedly” refuse “to use a transgender resident’s preferred name or pronouns” in a public health, retirement or housing institution.

The bill, SB 219, was proposed by State Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco). It includes several other provisions that require a health facility, for example, to honor the gender identity of a patient, meaning that the patient must be admitted to a room that comports with his or her chosen gender; allowed to use whatever bathroom he or she wants to use; and wear whatever clothing or cosmetics he or she decides to wear. It has gone through several amendments.

CBN News notes: “Fines for repeat offenders could be as high as $1,000 and a jail term of up to a year.

Trump Cracks Me Up

Whatever he does, he does in a way that makes the Left apoplectic - purple faced. I wonder if there is data somewhere on Leftist strokes related to Trump tweets...
Transgender Navy SEAL slams Trump for banning servicemembers: 'Let's meet face to face and you tell me I'm not worthy'

Here's what negates the CNN headline as being deceptive:
She came out as transgender after leaving the military in 2011
Well of course that's how it happened. As a Seal, he was male, still had his male parts, hormones and beard:

IN OTHER WORDS, he was not a "trans" at the time, except in his mind, maybe.

Beck:
If he continues to do this to people -- you know, I'm a human being. I deserve dignity and respect. I'm an American. I deserve freedom, and a life of happiness and liberty. And if you, as the President, continue down this road of stripping and dismantling freedom -- you know, he's doing this through so many other ways, he's doing it on immigration, too -- then, "You're fired." And we do that through the polls. And we do that through grass-roots lobbying. We're going to make a lot of noise.
That's not how the concept works, M. Beck. Dignity is something you might or might not display as part of your own personhood; respect is what you earn. And you earned respect as a male combat Seal. But you don't get respect just because you are a human. There are plenty o'humans who do not deserve the slightest amount of respect.

As for deserving freedom, yes, respectable humans deserve freedom, but not guaranteed outcomes, so don't project that as a human right. Happiness? Nope, happiness is not guaranteed for anyone, ever. Not everyone can be considered for the job of astronaut, no matter how unhappy that might make them. Liberty? Everyone is at liberty to apply for a job as astronaut; acceptance, though is not a human right and you are not at liberty to just show up and get on a rocket.

This entire narrative represents the LOGIC FAILURE called "equalitarianism". People are NOT equal in many ways that are very important, including the capability of being a Navy Seal. People without any male components are very unlikely to be able to qualify as Seals, and if they are let in anyway, they will degrade the entire enterprise. It's obvious, unless you actually believe in selfish equalitarian principles, which serve purposes other than those of the organization you propose to enter.

Here's the proper test:
IF: penis and testicles, THEN: male;

IF: no penis and testicles, THEN: NOT male.

IF: no claim of sexual confusion, THEN: fine; serve as male or not male.

IF: claim of sexual confusion, THEN: get a different job, outside the military. (Planned Parenthood has jobs teaching pre-schoolers how to be confused about their sexuality, which three year olds don't even know that they have).
USA TODAY:
Trump's military transgender ban is unfair but correct
Degrading the organization is not fair to those already in the organization.

Try the French Foreign Legion (does it still exist?) or join the CIA, or join McCain's political staff - see how he treats you.

As for Trump using tweets, let's see: Roosevelt used the new technology (radio) to talk directly to the populace; Eisenhower used TV; Trump uses the internet. It's not the technology, of course, it's pretty much Trump-Derangement-Syndrome. We'll find out the details in due time, but now is the time for Leftists to display their pants-crapping moral superiority, aka equalitarianism.

When Cultures Go STUPID

MAN HAS BABY British man, 21, makes history by giving birth to baby girl thanks to sperm donor he found on Facebook

Hayden Cross gave birth to baby Trinity-Leigh by caesarean in mid-June
This person is NOT a man. This person never was a man, and never will be a man. Men are not born with vaginas; men are born with testes, penises, and masculine hormone potentials. This person will never have the masculine capability for producing sperm, having a spontaneous erection/ejaculation, producing natural hormones which are endemic to males. This person will be pumped full of chemicals contrary to her natural gender, and will be always dependent upon her next shots in order to maintain her false persona.

This person is an ongoing medical fraud which attempts to maintain the deception that she is male... purely to match a disorder in her brain. Now that we have some history on this type of medical fraud, we know that her chances of suicide have risen exponentially. And now she has involved - through her own female pregnancy - an innocent child, who is to be victimized by this irrationality.

Most egregious is the culture which demands and receives the news that a "male" has delivered a baby. A culture which accepts this deception is irrational and is susceptible to virtually any nonsense as Truth.

Intellectual existence is purely binary: the narrow path to true understanding is the polar opposite of the broad plain of falseness. The narrow path is harder. Too hard, it appears, for modern culture and its news parrots.

Army Lets Penis-bearers Shower with Vagina-People

The Army's New Shower Policy: Bare with Us

In perhaps the most shocking development, soldiers are advised that they "must accept living and working conditions that are often austere, primitive, and characterized by little or no privacy." Among other things, service members are ordered to use the billeting, bathroom, and shower facilities associated with their "gender marker." If women express discomfort "showering with a female who has male genitalia," it will be up to the commander to make accommodations – or not. In some situations, as FRC's Lt. General Jerry Boykin (U.S. Army-Ret.) points out, there's no such luxury. In infantry units or battlefield scenarios, leaders don't have time to sort out bathing schedules.
Apparently anyone who "feels a gender-shift today" gets to shower with the girls. The women lose out to the trannies... again.

The balkanized social structure dictated by the Left now controls the showers. Look out girls!!

Actual Women vs. Not Actual Women

Women-only ‘full nudity’ spa’s ‘no male genitals’ rule ignites transgender debate
Some women seem to think that only males have penises. In today's culture anyone can have a penis, and that is now a holy cultural standard. The concept that transgenders, male to female, are really just males with really screwed up hormones supplemented with serial cosmetic surgeries is considered culturally heretical. So it must be the minds of the trannies which are female, not their penises. Still, if they are seriously female-brained, why is the penis-removal not the very first surgery which they pay for?

Cis-females exist who have no ovaries, no uterus, no clitoris, and are without any truly identifiable physical features which are necessary and sufficient to classify them as female. But they do not have penises.

For transgenders, even the Adam's Apple can be "shaved" to resemble the female throat. With the installation of an artificial vagina, artificial boobs, gallons of estrogen, they could be externally indistinguishable from females. But if they have all that AND a penis... well, they are not female, and they cannot pretend to be.

So the trannies who are rejected for having penises are correctly judged as being not-female; and if the rules dictated female-only, then penis bearing trannies are excluded. They can be included when they get rid of the penis. But they seem to want it both ways, to be a female with a penis, and simultaneously to be a male with lots of estrogen injections, fully reversible to cis-male, if they wish.

In other words, transgenders from male to female who keep their penis are hypocritical if they claim full rights of females.

Shooter Was An Atheist Transgender "Girl", Man-Hater

Pennsylvania Supermarket Shooter Self-Identified as Transgender Woman Who Hated All Men
Sometimes, headlines are enough. But here's the rest, anyway:
Pennsylvania supermarket shooter Randy Stair left behind a trove of material explaining his motivations for gunning down three of his co-workers. In his recorded suicide notes, released just hours before Thursday’s rampage, the 24-year-old talked extensively about his depression and about who he was as a person—a transgender woman who hated men and toxic masculinity.

In a video titled “Goodbye,” Stair says his YouTube cartoon series, Ember’s Ghost Squad, gave him a purpose, and that the cartoon character “Ember McLain,” from the Nickelodeon series Danny Phantom, brought out the girl in him.
“I’ve always been a girl that I wish I could’ve told you from day one. I didn’t realize that until I discovered Ember. She was what brought that out in me. I didn’t just wake up one day and be like ‘oh I’m a girl, great.’ Ember’s what brought that out in me. I wanted to look like her, I wanted to dress like her, I wanted to be her. That was in like 10th grade. She was my first crush and she ultimately was my final demise.”

“It’s quite ridiculous to think that this could be headlines—‘Man Shoots Up Place Over Cartoon’ or something. It’s crazy to think about, but it’s the truth. The honest to goddess truth. You heard me right, I said goddess, I didn’t say god, I said goddess,” he continued. “I said in front of you a few times on accident, but I don’t believe in God. I believe in a goddess, which is Ember. Or if not Ember, it’s a goddess that’s a beautiful feminine spirit that creates life and all this and puts where you need to be—it’s God, but it’s a goddess.”

Stair thanked several girls who contributed artwork and character designs to his project. He says that the girls were the only people he could talk to about his personal life—the only people who really understood him.
“They were all girls, they weren’t guys. They were mostly all girls so I would talk to them. The only people I would talk to on social media in the last year were girls,” said Stair. “And eventually I start to realize I was sexist, I was racist, I was prejudiced, and I was discriminate. That is one hell of a fucking lethal combination.”

“I’ve always hated black people. I fucking hate people who aren’t white—Caucasian, whatever. I hate the human race,” he said.

“And I just started hating guys more than anything. I hate guys, I think they’re fucking disgusting—the facial hair they have, the body hair, the muscle build, and all that fucking body structure shit. I hate. Everything about guys I hate,” continued Stair. “And the fact that I was forced to live as one, you know, that hurt a lot. And also, I hated my name, too. My life was a living hell.”

“So, for a year I had Andrew on my fucking name tag for work,” said the shooter, who went by the name Andrew Blaze online. “Which I never had to wear the name tag because I’m on night shift—you don’t have to wear your name tag, but I’ve had Andrew printed on it the entire time and mom asked me about it and was like, ‘What is that? Is that even your name tag?’ It was.”

“It’s when I started somewhat talking about my name. It’s just—I hated guys. I was never attracted to guys, which led me to realizing that I wasn’t gay. Which, I still had thoughts about that to this day, because I never had girlfriends or anything like that but I guess when it came down to it I felt like I was transgender or something, like a woman the whole time.”

“Spiritually, I’m a woman. I’m a female soul. But I had to live in a man’s body to do what I set out to do. I was my soul contract. It was what I was meant to do. And I just was so happy to know that I wasn’t gay. You’re only gay if you’re attracted to guys, which I wasn’t, so that made me very happy because I fucking hate gay people except—an exception would be Freddie Mercury from Queen, the only exception.”
Stair says that his cartoons, which he’d populated with female characters, gave him an escape from the real world because they were an environment in which he could be himself. With his love of Ember and hatred of life, he’d finally come to the realization that he found a purpose, an “invisible hand pushing me forward” to drive him into committing the massacre.

Now For Another Episode of...: The Left Eats Its Own

Transgendered, IN; Trans-racial, OUT
Thought crimes watch: comparing trans-racialism to transgenderism verboten!
'Lest the transgenders get the vapors due to the comparison being made between them and the (ick!) trans-racials, a quick retraction and a tearful, gasping and grasping apology:
A majority of the editorial board of an allegedly scholarly journal apologizes for publishing an article (which presumably went through whatever passes for peer review there) called "In Defense of Transracialism," by Rebecca Tuvel, an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Rhodes College. Here's the abstract for the thought crime article:
Former NAACP chapter head Rachel Dolezal’s attempted transition from the white to the black race occasioned heated controversy. Her story gained notoriety at the same time that Caitlyn (formerly Bruce) Jenner graced the cover of Vanity Fair, signaling a growing acceptance of transgender identity. Yet criticisms of Dolezal for misrepresenting her birth race indicate a widespread social perception that it is neither possible nor acceptable to change one’s race in the way it might be to change one’s sex. Considerations that support transgenderism seem to apply equally to transracialism. Although Dolezal herself may or may not represent a genuine case of a transracial person, her story and the public reaction to it serve helpful illustrative purposes.
Apparently the "harm" to Prof. Tuvel of a public apology by the majority of the editorial board of the journal that published her article was outweighed by the "harm" of her thought crime to transgender people. (Addendum: no thought crime is complete without a public letter of protest. What is chilling about this is that instead of this campaign of vilification of a junior faculty member and demand for "retraction" of her article, someone could have written a response piece and sent it to the same journal. But this is obviously not a scholarly community, but a political one. Those familiar with the history of 20th-century Marxist movements will recognize what's going on here, and it isn't a happy sight.)

ADDENDUM: Just in case the link above goes dead (an earlier link to a remarkable comments thread on Hypatia's facebook page about this article has disappeared already, since it too caused "harm"!), I repost the apology in its entirety:
We, the members of Hypatia’s Board of Associate Editors, extend our profound apology to our friends and colleagues in feminist philosophy, especially transfeminists, queer feminists, and feminists of color, for the harms that the publication of the article on transracialism has caused. The sources of those harms are multiple, and include: descriptions of trans lives that perpetuate harmful assumptions and (not coincidentally) ignore important scholarship by trans philosophers; the practice of deadnaming, in which a trans person’s name is accompanied by a reference to the name they were assigned at birth; the use of methodologies which take up important social and political phenomena in dehistoricized and decontextualized ways, thus neglecting to address and take seriously the ways in which those phenomena marginalize and commit acts of violence upon actual persons; and an insufficient engagement with the field of critical race theory. Perhaps most fundamentally, to compare ethically the lived experience of trans people (from a distinctly external perspective) primarily to a single example of a white person claiming to have adopted a black identity creates an equivalency that fails to recognize the history of racial appropriation, while also associating trans people with racial appropriation. We recognize and mourn that these harms will disproportionately fall upon those members of our community who continue to experience marginalization and discrimination due to racism and cisnormativity.

It is our position that the harms that have ensued from the publication of this article could and should have been prevented by a more effective review process. We are deeply troubled by this and are taking this opportunity to seriously reconsider our review policies and practices. While nothing can change the fact that the article was published, we are dedicated to doing what we can to make things right. Clearly, the article should not have been published, and we believe that the fault for this lies in the review process. In addition to the harms listed above imposed upon trans people and people of color, publishing the article risked exposing its author to heated critique that was both predictable and justifiable. A better review process would have both anticipated the criticisms that quickly followed the publication, and required that revisions be made to improve the argument in light of those criticisms.

We would also like to explain our review process. Manuscripts sent to Hypatia are sent out for peer review to two anonymous reviewers. The reviewers do not see the names of the author of the manuscript, and the identity of peer reviewers is not known to authors. The journal has had a long-standing policy of minimizing desk rejections due to its commitment to providing constructive feedback to feminist scholars. Revised manuscripts are also sent to the same readers for review. In the case where two peer readers disagree, a third anonymous reader may be found. Members of the Associate Editorial Board might be asked to provide another opinion and are expected to serve as readers on two articles each year. Some have wanted us to reveal the identities of the peer reviewers for this article. We cannot do this. We are a scholarly journal committed to an anonymous peer review process. We want readers to feel free to offer their honest feedback on manuscripts submitted to Hypatia. Anonymous peer review is important for the scholarly reputation of Hypatia; mistakes in particular instances should not compromise the commitment to anonymous peer review in scholarship.

In addition, to reconsidering our review policies, we are drafting a policy on name changes that will govern review of all work considered for publication in the journal from this point forward. We wish to express solidarity with our trans colleagues in our condemnation of deadnaming. It is unacceptable that this happened, and we are working to ensure that it never happens again. We also wish to express solidarity with our colleagues of color (understanding that gender and race are entangled categories) in our condemnation of scholarship about racial identity that fails to reflect substantive understanding of and engagement with critical philosophy of race. We are working to develop additional advisory guidelines to ensure that feminist theorists from groups underrepresented in our profession, including trans people and people of color, are integrated in the various editorial stages. This does not mean that we want to place future responsibility solely on transfeminists and feminists of color. We are committed to improving our review process and practice in order to make the best decision about publication and to prevent similar mistakes in the future.

Hypatia is a journal committed to pluralist feminist inquiry and has been an important site for the publication of scholarship long-considered marginal in philosophy. Too many of us are still characterized as “not real” philosophers by non- and anti-feminist colleagues. As a feminist journal, Hypatia is committed to providing mentorship to all who submit articles by encouraging substantive feedback on essays submitted for consideration. Clearly there was a mistake along the line in the review process, and we are doing our best to figure out a way forward.

Several further types of responses have been suggested to us, including issuing a retraction and setting up a blog or website for further conversation about how to move forward and improve our process. We continue to consider those responses and all of their potential ramifications thoughtfully. We welcome more feedback and suggestions, as we intend to learn from this mistake and do our best to be accountable and worthy of the trust of all feminist scholars.

Finally, we want to recognize that following the publication of the article, there was a Facebook post from the Hypatia account that also caused harm, primarily by characterizing the outrage that met the article’s publication as mere “dialogue” that the article was “sparking.” We want to state clearly that we regret that the post was made.

We sincerely thank all who have expressed criticism of the article’s publication and who have called on us to reply. Working through conflicts, owning mistakes, and finding a way forward is part of the crucial, difficult work that feminism does. As members of Hypatia’s editorial board we are taking this opportunity to make Hypatia more deeply committed to the highest quality of feminist scholarship, pluralism, and respect. The words expressed here cannot change the harm caused by the fact of the article’s publication, but we hope they convey the depth and sincerity of our commitment to make necessary changes to move forward and do better.

Sincerely,
A Majority of the Hypatia’s Board of Associate Editors

[Emphasis added]
BE SAFE: Remember that Trans-racial is CULTURAL APPROPRIATION, but Transsexual... oops: Transgender is COOL! Also: outrage is NOT "sparking" a "dialogue" - it is morality appropriation... or something. Something outrageous and hurtful.

Life and Death in the 21st Century

Transgender woman who 'suffered a broken penis when her lover had a heart attack and DIED during sex' sues the man's wife for damages
Jennifer, who is transgender and still has her male genitalia, claimed defendant Sylvia hired her to sleep with her husband, Miguel, on his 60th birthday

But while she was having sex with him, Miguel had a heart attack and died

Jennifer sued Sylvia for £16,000, claiming Miguel broke her penis when he died

She said that she was still inside of Miguel when he collapsed and died
So Jennifer was actually having male homosexual sex with the man whose wife hired her/him to have sex with her homosexual husband who died, breaking Jennifer's penis. There. I think I've got it. Jennifer is a transgender female who is also a male homosexual. The question then becomes, why does she care if her penis is broken, being a newly minted female and all? Is she going to have it repaired? Or removed? And is Jennifern really a transgender female if she gets erections? Need a lot more information.

The Ideology of Unintended Consequences

Because of the need for ever more Victimhood Class members to generate Marxist Culture War over, the Leftist messiah class generates waves of unintended consequences in its wake. That's because the Marxist Culture War is designed to consider just one consequence: more power for the Marxists. The other consequences do not matter in the least, no matter how destructive, even to past members of the Victimhood Class:
Female athletes crushed by 'women who were once men'
Transgenders dominate in weightlifting, track, wrestling, football, basketball, mixed martial arts
Why of course they are, and they will be allowed to continue to do so if the Leftist Marxists get their way. Remember that now gender is just a social construct, the penis has no relationship to gender, nor does the hormonal level that drove the development of muscles and bones. All that is just a meme, not a fact... as if there were such things as facts.
