Five SEIU officials so far...
More SEIU harassment allegations

Malave is the fifth SEIU official in recent weeks to leave the union following allegations of misconduct, after the October resignations of Executive Vice President Scott Courtney and Chicago Fight for 15 leader Caleb Jennings; the resignation earlier this month of Fight for 15 Organizing Director Kendall Fells; and the firing earlier this month of Mark Raleigh, who ran Fight for 15’s Detroit chapter.
SEIU is the union that buses its goons to conservative rallies to cause mayhem.

It Depends...

Just When Near Democrats

Daily Perv Report 11-21-17

Some Biggies today. First, John Conyers settled complaint:
She Said That A Powerful Congressman Harassed Her. Here’s Why You Didn’t Hear Her Story.

“When you make private settlements, it doesn’t warn the next woman or the next person going into that situation.”

Michigan Rep. John Conyers, a Democrat and the longest-serving member of the House of Representatives, settled a wrongful dismissal complaint in 2015 with a former employee who alleged she was fired because she would not “succumb to [his] sexual advances.”

Documents from the complaint obtained by BuzzFeed News include four signed affidavits, three of which are notarized, from former staff members who allege that Conyers, the ranking Democrat on the powerful House Judiciary Committee, repeatedly made sexual advances to female staff that included requests for sexual favors, contacting and transporting other women with whom they believed Conyers was having affairs, caressing their hands sexually, and rubbing their legs and backs in public. Four people involved with the case verified the documents are authentic.
And Charlie Rose admits to it:
Charlie Rose Suspended by CBS, PBS and Bloomberg Amid Sexual Misconduct Claims

The Washington Post spoke to eight women for the story about Rose, which focuses on his treatment of Charlie Rose employees between the late 1990s and 2011. None of the women worked for CBS or PBS, according to the report, and PBS, CBS and Bloomberg all told the newspaper that "they have no records of sexual harassment complaints about Charlie Rose."

"PBS was shocked to learn today of these deeply disturbing allegations," the organization in a statement. "We are immediately suspending distribution of 'Charlie Rose.' ... PBS does not fund this nightly program or supervise its production, but we expect our producers to provide a workplace where people feel safe and are treated with dignity and respect. "

In a statement, Bloomberg said: "We are deeply disturbed to learn of these allegations and are immediately suspending the show from airing on Bloomberg TV."

"Most of the women said Rose alternated between fury and flattery in his interactions with them," the Washington Post reported. "Five described Rose putting his hand on their legs, sometimes their upper thigh, in what they perceived as a test to gauge their reactions. Two said that while they were working for Rose at his residences or were traveling with him on business, he emerged from the shower and walked naked in front of them. One said he groped her buttocks at a staff party."

Rose addressed the allegations in a statement to the Washington Post and to reporters following publication. He said: "In my 45 years in journalism, I have prided myself on being an advocate for the careers of the women with whom I have worked. Nevertheless, in the past few days, claims have been made about my behavior toward some former female colleagues.

“It is essential that these women know I hear them and that I deeply apologize for my inappropriate behavior. I am greatly embarrassed. I have behaved insensitively at times, and I accept responsibility for that, though I do not believe that all of these allegations are accurate. I always felt that I was pursuing shared feelings, even though I now realize I was mistaken.

“I have learned a great deal as a result of these events, and I hope others will too. All of us, including me, are coming to a newer and deeper recognition of the pain caused by conduct in the past, and have come to a profound new respect for women and their lives.”
Good Grief.

Now for Oliver Stone:
Melissa Gilbert Accuses Oliver Stone Of Sexual Harassment: “It Was Humiliating And Horrid”

Gilbert’s accusation against Stone is not the first. Former Playboy model Carrie Stevens claimed that the director groped her during a party. Stone has yet to respond these allegations.

Today's Second Absurdity

With nearly 100% of the recent cases of objectifying women, the misogynists are Leftists. NOT Republicans. So for all their "protections of women's rights and freedoms", those are not internalized by the self-righteous, moralizing Left, which is full of sex offenders, Leftist sex predators on women. And the Left, and probably most of Congress, Hollywood, etc., KNEW about it and did NOTHING.

Irrationality is a marker of having taken the blue pill. It makes internal contradictions OK.

Secrecy surrounds sexual harassment settlements in Congress

Washington State governments’ practice of spending taxpayer funds to settle sexual harassment lawsuits against legislators and staff has created an uproar in California’s Legislature and other statehouses around the country. Now a picture is emerging of how the U.S. Congress is doing the same thing, with less fanfare and even less transparency.

Democratic Rep. Jackie Speier of Hillsborough said Wednesday that over the last 20 years, Congress has settled 260 complaints of workplace discrimination “at a cost to taxpayers of this country of $15 million,” reiterating a figure she quoted on NBC Tuesday. But it’s unclear how many of those complaints were related to sexual harassment, versus racial or other forms of discrimination, because Congress doesn’t release that information, nor is it subject to Freedom of Information Act requests.

Sexual Harassment in Hillary and Bernie Campaign Organizations

Workers on Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders Campaigns Claim Sexual Harassment

by Adam Shaw17 Nov 20175,868
Campaign workers on the Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders Democratic 2016 presidential campaigns alleged in a report published Friday that they were harassed while campaigning for their respective candidates and that the campaigns failed to address the claims properly — the latest sexual misconduct revelations to rock the Democratic Party.

Lilian Adams, a Clinton campaign worker, and Zoey Jordan Salsbury, who worked for the Sanders primary campaign, both told HuffPost that they were sexually harassed by fellow campaign workers and that the campaigns were “ill-equipped” to cope.

Adams, who relocated to Colorado to work for the campaign as a paid organizer, said she was subject to homophobic remarks (Adams is bisexual) which went on to comments about her body and attempts to force her into one-on-one situations and get her to drink alcohol. Adams, then 19, said her harasser also encouraged her not to wear bras.

While her abuser was eventually fired months after Adams first complained to superiors in June, he was reportedly later rehired in October to work on the campaign for a different state party, leaving her disillusioned. Clinton made the fair-and-equal treatment of women a central part of her campaign as the first woman to win the presidential nomination for a major political party.

“You have a lot of young passionate people who want to help change the world through Democratic politics,” Adams said. “Older Democratic operatives see this passion and exploit it, putting us in an extremely stressful and unhealthy work environment.”

However, she said she did not blame Clinton herself:

“When I criticize the Hillary campaign, I am not criticizing her,” she told HuffPost. “She was actually a source of inspiration during the hard days.”

Salsbury, who worked as a volunteer as president of American University Students for Bernie, told HuffPost a campaign intern made unwanted advances, but the campaign had no structure to deal with issues among volunteers. In her account, she blasted “a culture that didn’t discuss office policies with volunteers or make it clear that harassment wasn’t tolerated.” She was 18 at the time of the alleged harassment.

She said she was contacted by a Sanders campaign lawyer this week, but the conversation made her uncomfortable, treating her as if she was a “roadblock” to a possible 2020 run for the Vermont socialist.

“It firmly felt like the kind of call you make when you’re trying to feel out if someone has the interest and/or standing to bring a lawsuit,” she said.

Clinton aides did not respond to HuffPost, while Sanders told the outlet he does “not tolerate sexual harassment” in his Senate office or on his campaigns. However, his office admitted that volunteers were not given information on detailing harassment reporting process and that that will change in the future.

The allegations are the latest sexual misconduct claims to rock the Democratic Party and come a day after a picture emerged of Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) groping a journalist on a two-week USO tour in 2006. The journalist, Leeann Tweeden, also claimed that before that picture Franken had kissed her during a skit rehearsal without her consent.

Franken apologized for his actions, although he said he remembers the rehearsal differently to Tweeden. Franken called for the Senate Ethics Committee to investigate his actions after coming under heavy fire from both Republicans and Democrats.

CAA Agent Accused of Sexual Assault

CAA [Creative Artists Agency LLC] Sued Over Agent's Alleged Sexual Assault of a Client

In June, Mann says Mitchell told her he needed to come to her home to give her a "present." When he arrived, he said he needed to take a shower and then came out of the bathroom in a towel. Despite her shock, Mann says Mitchell then sat on her love seat and talked to her about entertainment executives and projects before grabbing the back of her head and forcing her to perform oral sex. Afterward, he got dressed and told her they would "talk later."

Then, in August, Mann says Mitchell demanded she come to a late-night event to discuss a contract. Throughout the night, she says, he urged her to consume "drink after drink." He then told her he needed to speak with her inside his car about a project she was up for and told her he wanted to book a trip with her for her birthday. Mann says she told him she only wanted a professional relationship with him and reminded him that he had a wife and children. This upset him, according to the complaint, and he again grabbed her head and forced her to perform oral sex before she escaped the vehicle, crying.

In September, Mann says she met with Mitchell at SkyBar in West Hollywood. Later that night, the actress claims she woke up in her own bed with no memory of what had happened and with Mitchell laying next to her, naked, and pulling her on top of him.

Mann says she reported the incidents to CAA's human-resources department on Oct. 13, but representatives of the company refused to meet with her. She also claims the company's sexual-harassment and assault training for agents is "woefully inadequate" or nonexistent.

"Moreover, in response to Ms. Mann’s statement to CAA that she feared for her safety in light of Defendant MITCHELL’s conduct, his ability to find her, and his repeated attempts to be in close physical proximity to her, CAA coldly divorced itself from the matter, refused to take any action, and advised Plaintiff in no uncertain terms that she would have to be solely responsible for her own safety," writes attorney Paul Philips in the complaint. "CAA’s position on this matter constituted a perpetuation of its policy of allowing and permitting its agents to engage in wrongful and unlawful conduct unchecked."
