If we say that the sane can be coaxed and persuaded to rationality, and we say that rationality presupposes logic, then what can we say of those who actively reject logic?

Kristol Helps Kill The Republican Cuckservative Hegemony
By now you've probably heard that Bill Kristol, self-anointed King-Maker, has chosen this nearly completely unknown cuckservative, David French, to siphon off votes from Trump. For a look at French (another of the National Review "never-Trump brigade), here is an article he wrote for NR. Notice immediately that Class War is at the top of the article: Trump is classified as a member of the Class: "cave man".
What French represents is the idea that being nicey-nice to the culture warriors is the definition of a sophisticated, modern "man". Yep. That works. As with ISIS, Stalin and Hitler, being nice to SJWs just gives them more power.
What this really entails is the last of the elitist barriers crashing down, as Kristol desperately plays scorched earth as he anticipates the coming rout of the Republican "establishment RINO capitulators". What the millions of Trump voters think is of value holds no force for the Cuckservative Oligarchy, which would rather see the death of the party than to relinquish control to actual voters.
Unless Bernie can siphon off enough write-in votes from Hillary, if the billionaire support for this French guy produces a large campaign against Trump, then Hillary will win. French cannot win; Most of Trump's support will not fade. With both Hillary and French attacking Trump, he will not have enough votes in all likelyhood.
I think that the Republican RINO cuckservatives should take the fainting goat as their emblem. (Go belly up when in the presence of a Democrat, and surrender before standing for anything).
I LOVE THIS CAMPAIGN SEASON! INVEST IN POPCORN!

Why Is This Even An Issue?
Ben Carson on 2016: Must Have a Process Where the Will of the People is RespectedTrump has the magic to produce the public revelation of the evils which dwell in the Republican Party. How amazing it is that his presence, as defective as it is, sends the oligarchists into frenzied and public anti-democratic conspiracies. If it were not for this moral sludge at the heart of the GOP, no one would consider Trump at all. Trump is the effect; the GOP oligarchs are the cause.
Carson said he believes whoever is running for President of the United States needs to have a “lifetime of extreme accomplishment,” instead of an ordinary person. The former candidate noted that the nominee should be chose by the people, not the party itself.
“The key thing for me is that we must have a process where the will of the people is respected,” he said. “Whoever the people choose, that is the person that the party needs to get behind, not the other way around.”
He also commented on the political outsider candidate versus the traditional politician in Washington.
“At the beginning of this whole process everybody was talking about having an outsider and how the people were excited about an outsider,” Carson said. “And now, we have an outsider and everybody’s trying to say ‘no, no, no it can’t be an outsider, and we want the traditional person who is backed by the traditional people in the party.’ That’s the person who’s being polished and presented as the solution. The people, I think, are probably going to be a lot smarter than anybody thinks and I believe they’re waking up rapidly and they will make the determination.”

More on the Oligarch Billionaires and Republican Establishment RINOs
At Secretive Meeting, Tech CEOs And Top Republicans Commiserate, Plot To Stop Trump
Billionaires, tech CEOs and top members of the Republican establishment flew to a private island resort off the coast of Georgia this weekend for the American Enterprise Institute's annual World Forum, according to sources familiar with the secretive gathering.
The main topic at the closed-to-the-press confab? How to stop Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google co-founder Larry Page, Napster creator and Facebook investor Sean Parker, and Tesla Motors and SpaceX honcho Elon Musk all attended. So did Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), political guru Karl Rove, House Speaker Paul Ryan, GOP Sens. Tom Cotton (Ark.), Cory Gardner (Colo.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Rob Portman (Ohio) and Ben Sasse (Neb.), who recently made news by saying he "cannot support Donald Trump."
Along with Ryan, the House was represented by Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Fred Upton (Mich.), Rep. Kevin Brady (Texas) and almost-Speaker Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), sources said, along with leadership figure Cathy McMorris Rodgers (Wash.), Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price (R-Ga.), Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (Texas) and Diane Black (Tenn.).
Philip Anschutz, the billionaire GOP donor whose company owns a stake in Sea Island, was also there, along with Democratic Rep. John Delaney, who represents Maryland. Arthur Sulzberger, the publisher of The New York Times, was there, too, a Times spokeswoman confirmed.
"A specter was haunting the World Forum--the specter of Donald Trump," Kristol wrote in an emailed report from the conference, borrowing the opening lines of the Communist Manifesto. "There was much unhappiness about his emergence, a good deal of talk, some of it insightful and thoughtful, about why he's done so well, and many expressions of hope that he would be defeated."
"The key task now, to once again paraphrase Karl Marx, is less to understand Trump than to stop him," Kristol wrote. "In general, there's a little too much hand-wringing, brow-furrowing, and fatalism out there and not quite enough resolving to save the party from nominating or the country electing someone who simply shouldn't be president."
God forbid that the WILL OF THE PEOPLE prevail in the Republican Party. These people are the precise reason that prior Republican successes have produced ZERO results in stopping the march toward socialism and the attacks on civil rights and the US Constitution. Notice all the politicians listed, along with Democrats and Leftists (NYT). Trump and the Great Unwashed Flyovers are a threat to all of these filthy rich and their politicians, including all of the powerful crony politicians of both parties. Those powers will not stand for it. The coming Seven Month War ON TRUMP will be fascinating to watch. Byword of the time: buy more popcorn. And ammo, of course; the polarization is nearing completion.

Boehner/Obama Party on Airforce One
John Boehner is a disgrace and should be impeached.
John Boehner gets his first Air Force One ride with ObamaClutching a first-flight certificate?? Like his first merit badge?? No self respect at all. At least no respect from me. He gave Obama the secret but massive trade bill(s). And he acts like Stalin to his own party.
"The change in Air Force One hangouts following the midterms provided a marked contrast to the middle of the Obama presidency; from September 2011 until February 2013 not a single Republican lawmaker joined the commander in chief aboard the plane, despite a litany of possible trips.
The president flew to Charleston Friday with a large group of lawmakers, including not only Boehner, but also Republican Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) and Reps. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) and John Lewis (D-Ga.).
Boehner carried with him an envelope containing a first-flight certificate, given to passengers when they make their first trip with a president aboard his plane."

Quote of the Day: Thomas Sowell
Sowell on RINOs:
"When it comes to national elections, just what principles do the Republicans stand for? It is hard to think of any, other than their hoping to win elections by converting themselves into Democrats lite. But voters who want what the Democrats offer can vote for the real thing, rather than Johnny-come-lately imitations.Well, lawbreakers are in charge of the nation; so why not just make a National Lawbreakers Political Party? Oh yeah, there already is one.
Listening to discussions of immigration laws and proposals to reform them is like listening to something out of “Alice in Wonderland.”
Immigration laws are the only laws that are discussed in terms of how to help people who break them. One of the big problems that those who are pushing “comprehensive immigration reform” want solved is how to help people who came here illegally and are now “living in the shadows” as a result.
What about embezzlers or burglars who are “living in the shadows” in fear that someone will discover their crimes? Why not “reform” the laws against embezzlement or burglary, so that such people can also come out of the shadows?"
