Legalize Pot as Reparation to Blacks.

Cannabis Industry Could Be 'A Form Of Reparations,' Says Cynthia Nixon

“It’s a racial justice issue because we’re incarcerating people of color in such staggering numbers,” she said.
So it's racist to expect blacks to obey the Law. Certainly that is the message that came out of Baltimore, when the city let the blacks run with no policing. Laws are merely racist controls on black behavior, and that behavior is their culture. Following their own culture is supposed to be part of the multi-culti, non-assimilation, Leftist narrative. If so it would be natural to have a separate set of laws for blacks - legalizing all aspects of their culture.

But their ghetto culture is racist, tribal, violent, anarchic, blame-shifting and government supported by the US Federal and state government. That makes them parasitic, without limits or controls. It's the Democrat Plantation, where votes are bought with the passivity of the black community. Legal grass ought to pacify them, right? And call it reparation.

It's just another path to inevitable war and destruction wrought by Leftism.

How Africa Disappeared

The Zman:
Elephants

The reason for this is Africa, in particular, stands as proof against everything the modern Left says about the human condition. There are no success stories in Africa. Botswana is the closest you get, but it remains one of the poorest places on earth. The rest of Africa is a collection of failed states and basket-cases. Sierre Leone, for example, is no longer able to maintain its water supply and power grid. Nigeria is in a low-grade civil war with Muslims and Zimbabwe is the glaring example of the African failed state.

...

You see, Africa is the example that counters everything our Progressive rulers believe about the world. If the blank slate is true, then Africans should have made great strides in closing the gap with the white world. If things like “institutional racism” were real things, Africa should be racing toward modernity now. If colonialism was the reason these places were so backward, a half century of freedom should have gone a long way toward curing the effects of the white man. Instead. everywhere Africa is worse than a half century ago.

The response from our Progressive rulers is to just ignore Africa. You see it in this National Review article on the end of Mugabe’s rule. The authoress is young, so she was poached in the warm liquids of multiculturalism her whole life. Her struggle to explain the decline of Rhodesia into Zimbabwe reads like a person trying to disarm a bomb while blindfolded. She not only avoids the elephant in the room, which is race, she leaves the reader with the impression that there is no such thing as elephants. Race does not exist.

That’s why Africa stopped being important to our Progressive rulers. It’s why the efforts of George Bush to do something about AIDS in Africa was largely ignored. You can’t talk about Africa without talking about race and race realism. Those are taboo subjects, so the whole continent may as well not exist. Bring up the subject in a room full of Progressives and watch their reaction. You won’t see fear. It will be confusion. The subject has been purged from the catechism, so it no longer exists. Africa is not cool anymore.

Remember when Obama's brother in Kenya said that it would be better for them if the whites returned to Kenya?

Culture of Constant Contradictions

Ladies, Remember Men Are Dangerous. Now Share A Bathroom With Them And Don't Carry A Gun.

It's important, I'm told, to be respectful of opposing beliefs. We mustn't be dismissive of viewpoints that differ from our own. We mustn't condescend.
What about viewpoints that differ from ... themselves? For the Left that's OK because Shut UP!

Others by Matt Walsh:
WALSH: This Transgender Person Allegedly Raped A Girl In A Bathroom. Leftists Still Want Men In The Women's Room.

WALSH: We're Still Funding The Abortion Industry, But Let's Be Mad About Trophy Hunting Instead

WALSH: If Kids Can't Consent, Stop Pushing Sex And Birth Control On Them In Grade School
Well, the only absolute principles that the Left adheres to are 1) that rape is OK if it's done by a Leftist who supports women's rights, or a Leftist Victimhood Class member; 2) Abortion is a First Principle of Leftist eradicationalism; 3) kids and sex - Yum - when does the plane to pedophile island leave? 4) Contradictions are a Right Wing Conspiracy Theory.

And Not Just HIS Job

Pizza shop worker loves Seattle’s new $15 minimum wage, until he finds out that it cost him his job

Pizza shop worker Devin Jeran was excited about the raise that was coming his way thanks to Seattle’s new $15 an hour minimum wage law. Or at least he was until he found out that it would cost him his job.

Jeran will only see a bigger paycheck until August when his boss has to shut down her Z Pizza location, putting him and his 11 co-workers out of work, Q13 Fox reported.

He said that while the law was being discussed all he heard about was how the mandatory minimum wage increase would make life better for him, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

“If that’s the truth, I don’t think that’s very apparent. People like me are finding themselves in a tougher situation than ever,” he told the TV station.

Owner Ritu Shah Burnham said she just can’t afford the city’s mandated wage hikes.

“I’ve let one person go since April 1, I’ve cut hours since April 1, I’ve taken them myself because I don’t pay myself,” she told Q13. “I’ve also raised my prices a little bit, there’s no other way to do it.”

Small businesses in Seattle have up to six more years to phase in the new $15 an hour minimum wage, but even though she only has 12 employees, Z pizza counts as part of a “large business franchise.” As a result, she is on a sped up timeline to implement the full raise.

“I know that I would have stayed here if I had 7 years, just like everyone else, if I had an even playing field,” she said. “The discrimination I’m feeling right now against my small business makes me not want to stay and do anything in Seattle.”

Shah Burnham said that she is “terrified” for her employees after she closes up shop.

“I have no idea where they’re going to find jobs, because if I’m cutting hours, I imagine everyone is across the board,” she said.

The organization that pushed for the higher minimum wage, 15 Now Seattle, wouldn’t comment directly on the closing to Q13 and didn’t offer any sign of sympathy.

“Restaurants open and close all the time, for various reasons,” Director Jess Spear said.
It's never their fault. Never. But in this case, economics is non-compressible: it can't be forced into the Leftist lie, unlike people.

New Hate Crimes: Language Department

New BAAAD words:
University Advises Teaching Assistants Not To Say ‘Last Name’ Or ‘It Is Easy To Imagine’

George Mason University advised graduate teaching assistants (TAs) during a mandatory training Tuesday not to use words or phrases including “freshman,” “last name,” and “it is easy to imagine.”

The school made these suggestions in a tips and strategies guide entitled “Creating Inclusive Classrooms” obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation. The guide also advised graduate TAs to include a diversity statement in their syllabi and ask students for their name and pronoun.

“Make sure that your syllabus is written in non-sexist, gender-inclusive terms,” the guide suggests. “For example, use the phrase first-year student versus freshman, humankind rather than mankind, etc.”

“Strive for inclusive language that does not assume Eurocentric name forms,” continues the guide. “For example, use family name rather than last name or given name versus Christian name.”

George Mason recommends that graduate TAs make sure students can pronounce each others’ names, suggesting using notecards with phonetic spelling. Graduate TAs are also encouraged to ask students for the name and pronoun that agrees with their gender identity and expression. (RELATED: Canadians Could Face Hate Crimes Over Using The Wrong Gender Pronouns)

“When lecturing, avoid exclusionary phrases such as ‘everyone knows…,’ ‘it is easy to imagine…,’ or ‘certainly the answer is obvious…,’ the guidelines continue. “These phrases assume a shared cultural context and can function to silence or discourage students from asking questions.”

Dr. Laura Lukes, assistant director of George Mason’s center for teaching and faculty excellence, coordinated the session at which the graduate TAs received the guidelines.

George Mason advises using media that are “gender-neutral” and “stereotype-free.”

“I won’t avoid saying things like ‘mankind’ or ‘freshman,'” the graduate TA told TheDCNF. “They aren’t even gendered words, kind of like ‘history.’ Not that I would avoid gendered words anyway.”

Lukes and George Mason University did not respond to requests for comment.
Not crimes... yet, except in Canada. Not sure what is still legal in Canada except for Islam and the Qur'an.

Making Up Facts for Congruence With the Deplorables Narrative

Prof accuses Trump voters of 'authoritarianism,' 'prejudice'

The University of California, Santa Cruz recently highlighted a professor’s claim that Donald Trump supporters are characterized by traits like “authoritarianism” and “prejudice.”

Professor Thomas Pettigrew says five personality traits led voters to coalesce around a core of “male nativists and populists who were less educated than the general population.”

In a post on the UCSC Newscenter website, the university touts an article by Professor Thomas Pettigrew that was recently published the Journal of Social and Political Psychology, in which he asserts that "authoritarianism, social dominance orientation, prejudice, relative deprivation, and intergroup contact” are the five social-psychological factors that led voters to coalesce around the “male nativists and populists who were less educated than the general population” who he says made up the “core” of the “Trump movement.” [Bigotry Alert! Caution!]

"Many outgroup prejudices characterize dedicated Trump’s followers, not just anti-immigrant [prejudices]." [False: Actually moral revulsion to Leftist LIES, racial profiling and identity Class war which isolates blacks, browns, whites and Asians].

[RELATED: USC prof says Trump supporters are ‘least educated segment of the population’] [Possibly due to fewer PhD psychos]

“No one factor describes Trump’s supporters,” Pettigrew writes. “But an array of factors—many of them reflecting five major social psychological phenomena that form the tinder and the spark—can help to account for this extraordinary political event.”

Pettigrew repeatedly refers to Trump’s election as “unexpected,” but says the phenomenon is not unprecedented, comparing it to the Know Nothing movement in the 1850s, the Wallace movement in the 1960s, and the Tea Party. [Pettigrew is comparable to Lenin, John Podesta and all the Clintons].

In each of those movements, he says, the “tinder” that lit the “fire” of the movement was composed of “male nativists and populists,” who despite allegedly being “less educated than the general population” managed in this case to exploit several “highly interrelated characteristics” common to a critical mass of voters. [Nah. It was Crooked Hillary, the obvious criminal and hater of flyovers; she fully represented the Donks and the likes of this pompous Marxist; note the prejudice of the presumptive elitist against the common person].

[RELATED: Prof: Trump’s immigration policies fueled by ‘racist nativism’]

Pettigrew claims that “authoritarianism,” for instance, initially manifests itself as a “personality orientation” rooted in a preference for “social dominance,” but “typically leads to some form of a right-wing political ideology” [Wrong: it's Left wing as it always has been, ever since the French Revolution, 200+ years ago.] because “anti-egalitarianism” is more common among conservatives than liberals. [False attribution: Egalitarianism is Fully Communist - not admirable: it's Left Wing - always Left Wing: See Venezuela and Leftist support].

“Though found among left-wingers, authoritarianism is more numerous [sic] among right-wingers throughout the words,” he elaborates, adding that “Republicans began averaging higher on authoritarianism [metrics] than Democrats before the rise of Trump.” [Then the metrics don't reflect either Republicans (except RINOs) or Democrats].

“[Trump’s] speeches are saturated with absolutes and fear-provoking statements,” Pettigrew told Campus Reform. “Authoritarians think this way and are easily threatened.” [This is actually stupid, to the core; it is the Left which is threatened by microaggressions, skin color and free speech, and then runs screaming to a Safe Space or riots and burns up their own place].

[RELATED: Cornell to offer course on Trump's 'xenophobic nationalism']

Pettigrew’s article then goes on to address the alleged “prejudice” of Trump supporters, asserting that Republicans have been gradually gravitating toward racists for decades. [Lie. LIE, LIE, LIE. Democrat history starts, sustains and ends with racism, 150 year of anti-black racism, another 50 years of Jim Crow controlled Democrat plantations for poor blacks, and now white-hatred and Asian discrimination, as black racists take over the party].

“Many outgroup prejudices characterize dedicated Trump’s followers, not just anti-immigrants, but anti-outgroups in general,” [Blatant LIE, see just above]. he states. “Since Richard Nixon’s ‘southern strategy,’ [Egregious LIE; the Southern Strategy was a Republican commentary on the strategy obviously being pursued by the DONKS] the Republican Party has employed strategies that appeal to bigotry with ‘dog whistles’—somewhat subtle codewords for race and other minorities designed to be heard by racists but not by non-racists.” [I.e. only you hear such imaginary things].

[RELATED: Prof says Trump exploits 'threatened white masculinity']

Pettigrew contends that “intergroup contact,” meanwhile, is a trait distinctly lacking among Trump voters, observing that “Trump’s White supporters have experienced far less contact with minorities than other Americans.” [Absolute Bullshit. Trump voters most likely interface in their workplaces with more types of people than Pettigrew ever sees. Pettigrew makes up the most outrageous LIEs to suit his Leftist Narrative purpose].

As for the characteristic of “relative deprivation”, Pettigrew disputes the prevailing media narrative that support for Trump came primarily from “unemployed, angry middle-class voters in basic manufacturing areas,” pointing out that multiple analyses have shown that Trump’s voters were actually better off than Hillary Clinton supporters according to various metrics. [Hillary's supporters are/were supporting criminal behavior in order to get something more from the government, including more racism, sexism, handouts, and hatred of the working class. It's so obvious that no serious objective observer could claim otherwise].

Rather, he suggests that perception was more influential than “the actual truth,” saying, “Trump adherents feel deprived relative to what they expected to possess at this point in their lives and relative to what they erroneously perceive other ‘less deserving’ groups have acquired.” [LIE. False. When your job has been shipped to Zimbabwe, and there are no other jobs, you KNOW what's happened and what the cause is. What happened: lose your house, car, ability to support yourself. Cause: government protection of Big Banks (Hillary/Obama) and huge corporations, rather than protecting the American economy, and thus the workers].

When asked whether he believes that the 46 percent of voters who supported Trump all possess one or more of the negative traits identified in his article, Pettigrew clarified that while the generally applicable, they are not necessarily universal.

“Yes, all surveys on the subject known to me show that a majority (but not everyone) of Trump voters show these characteristics,” he told Campus Reform, saying there are “highly-identified Republicans” who defy the mold. [What sort of cobbled bullshit is that statement?]

Democrats Woo The Deplorables, While Republicans Fiddle

Trying to steal Trump's success with the Othered Class, the Donks change their tune from Hate the Deplorables to Victimhood of the Flyovers:
Dems want to rebrand as the economic party

An opening theme/frame: "excessive corporate power and its impacts."
Always Marxist, always starting with identifying and targeting an Oppressor Class to Hate.
The agenda's big idea: "Too many families in America today feel that the rules of the economy are rigged against them. Special interests have a strangle-hold on Washington — from the super-rich spending unlimited amounts of secret money to influence our elections, to the huge loopholes in our tax code that help corporations avoid paying taxes."

"If the government goes back to putting working families first, ahead of special interests, we can achieve a better deal for the American people that will raise their pay, lower their expenses, and prepare them for the future."
They discovered this late, maybe too late. The deplorables know bait when they see it. And the HATE THE OPPRESSOR meme is wearing thin with those whose values have been under the Leftist bus and declared the Oppressor Class by the hate-the-whites/males/cis-straights who run the Donk Party.

The anti-everything antics of the Donks since the election of their Destructor has made it clear that there is neither honesty nor honor amongst the Left. Whether that will be remembered by the ignoranti next election cycle remains unclear; meanwhile, the Republicans continue to prove that they can't even repeal the hated ObamaCare, given control of both houses and the presidency. The Republican incompetence might well lead to the next installation of Marxists into Congress.
